I had chosen my God at creation, then worshiped in game Idol by my God at a early LvL, but he has never answered my prayers in game. Just in case i went and tried to worship again and it said something to the account of i can not worship another god. Is this a glitch and can it be fixed?

This will sound like a stupid question, but.... did you spell it right? Or, like, if the god is one with two names, like "Erevan Ilesere" or "Haela Brightaxe," did you enter the full name?

In any case, a DM can enter any deity you like into your character sheet; it's a pretty easy fix, if I understand it correctly.

You also have to make sure you have the correct domains the deity supports.

Are you in fact a cleric? Greg tools don't always get answered by their deity. I believe only clerics and maybe druids get answered100%

Even if your character has the same God as the idol you're worshiping at, you will get the same response that you got, no matter how many times you pray to it.You get no benefits from praying at an idol to your chosen deity, they're for actually choosing the deity. And, you have a percentage chance, at receiving a blessing from praying (from the Rest menu), depending on your class levels, so that may be affecting whether or not you're getting the blessing.

DI has it. If you're not a supported alignment you can't pray to the deity, even if your character worships that deity. It usually isn't a problem if you're not a cleric. Just roleplay the prayer instead of using the mechanical one.

It was spelled correctly and I have the right alignment. My chars not a cleric so domains i don't think it applies in my case, glad to know the Dm's can easily fix it, thanks for your replies.
