as most as seen auril's white guard is recruiting now we are also looking for new characters to join with a low lvl group up idea so if your interested you are welcome to make a new char and join the white guard, we plan active events and have more then enough wild ideas to keep you and dms busy and I know im not allowed to talk for a dm, but the current auril dm (prais her devotion and game time spend) is a realy active dm for any questions ask here or pm me the biggest difference with in game people joining is that new chars must be 100% devoted to Auril to make clear sinds most think I want mide slaves: thise means for new pc charecters to follow auril, and have a form of back ground that you as of the start of the pc have no intension to leave her path, and you chose to join the white guard (like people chose the monk order) out of own choice or personal gain, there is drilling and punishments ic for whom disobey, but I my self was a real pain in the ass for my leaders once and now I lead the faction

Not only do cars not exist in Amia, they'd be impossible to keep running due to the lack of fuel. Not to mention the cost of the repairs and manufacturing.

What about some kind of gnomish golem wagon?

We've always had our way of sorting out the bad apples. It won't be 100% perfect but if you join just to know what we're up to. We'll find out. Lets just say we are calling upon the spirit of proper and good role play. Allow us and me this moment of positive thinking in stark contract to the shadow of negativitie I'm know for casting over most topics I used to comment on. *smirks*

vroooooooooooooooooeeeemmmmmm but yeah there are always rotten or fallen people but there is a difference between a fresh new man/woman always in good faith and now left his house to join us, and some guy whom has been in other factions for many years ow and for any people or dm's whom it might concern one day if I ever post something about auril or the white guard Mr. Lord-Hadeis is fully allowed to add stuff , or be a know it all in the topic

The point of Roleplaying is to have fun doing so. Telling people they have to be dedicated or they're out is going to turn people away before they even get a chance to 'test the ice', per se.

@ 666WaysToHell thise is for rp only that's why we want new chars aswel we are a rp faction but your welcome with any char you like, but we gonne have a special "new char" division to call it so @Yaster Galer well yes it is of course but not always people are haha I know I joined some by just saying I was and with 100% devoted I mean to auril and sinds we are a faction of auril... but I found saying it thise better because it leaves open for options later on in the game, in the old days we had the idea for a permakill contract that is not what we are asking for now

I really despise these topics and every time one crops up I mourn the baby faction that was just killed by its own mother.
Recruiting exclusively in-game is more effective, meaningful, and offers the added benefit of keeping things out of the DM's radar. While you may be seeking to bolster your numbers by offering an invitation to those that do not have an applicable existing PC, but with your caveat that their characters must be "100% devoted" you've eliminated the possibility of newly rolled PCs having any longevity at all.

wel you should inform yourself better sir, we are recruiting ic very hard both public as underground and where not a baby faction we have a long and rich history, and the 100% is not so hard to be followed I don't want mind slaves I just wand people to follow auril and not deity hopers and thise is only for the new chars ic already existing chars are solo don ic and not to be discussed on a forum,
and about not having a longevity live I beg the difrence I know enough people (including me and the hard core of our faction) whom started for one reason and are still in it so its more the problem of people not able to handel it, I my self like te strugel to stay faithfull in every move
I also added a explanation witch I though people would not need to get the picture
but to en thise I would like no one te reply here unless you realy want to ask somting or join the newbe section of our faction (or pm me for the normal faction)
and if you don't agree you can either go outside and eat a muffin or pm me about it

Not interested in joining but I would recommend you take a look at the "know your leaders" entries as well as Dead's Magisterium Mortis thread. I find those well served for bringing in new people as well. Having some information available for those who do not know much about Auril is a good option in my opinion

If you don't....you're doing something horribly, horribly wrong. Also, being told flat out "You must be devoted to us" OOCly is going to make any sane player (i.e., the entirety of who you're trying to lure in) go "Yeah, no thanks." And no, Yaster, it's not expected from most factions. It'd be nice, sure. But what's -expected- is that you're not playing in direct opposition factions (i.e. Cordor and Kohlingen/Osthaven and Wiltun)

I'm Hackums, and I approve of Auril folks growing. Go get 'em!
I think you've gotten some feedback on the devotion piece. So it might be good to consider their words, but ultimately, as long as you guys make it fun for other players, you'll all have a good time in the faction.
Couple this with Amarice's plot, and I'm looking forward to seeing a revived Auril presence. As for topics such as these, I'm okay with them. Recruiting ICly often falls on the ears of characters who players are already playing. And they are still recruiting ICly. But when you're dealing with something as foreign as Aurilites, or an Orc Tribe, or something that would really be quite difficult for an existing character to join, these sort of simple topics can be handy.

Yay Aurilites. We tried for something like this in the recent past and it didn't really take flight, but I think you're in good hands with the new Alt Beginnings Plot. I much approve of northerners grossly serving Auril because it's just 'too damn cold'. "Why do you serve Auril?" "Because there's only one god who pays attention to the living in this climate!" Better to freeze in favor than to freeze alone. Hee hee.

@p three: read my text again its been refitted to explain more and we want them to start as pure folowers of auril and after that they are in the world and free to learn and go, (although ofcoures we hold a ic whip hehe) (and again thise is only for new chars, any already existing char is under difrend rule's)
@mr. hackum YAR!!!! we indeed are looking for 2 ways, the local yolk like villegers or orc tribe players (like me) to start a fresh line and we are actively spaming boards around the server
@sunkin sheep: yeah I heard a little if there is any left they are more then welcome to join aswel but like I am and Lord-Hadeis we are of the old groop returning and more of old groop wil join aswel as some new friends (when they can find cd keys)
but for al ye positive feed backers thx i'm gonne make a small back ground soon and a clearer order list the reason I did not do the last part is because we where a hidden faction, and out of old habits not giving to much ooc information, but we gonne change that
