Hey, I asked a DM and he or she didn't know so I'm posting here.

Concerning the Temporal Essence we get as a reward for defeating the Phane.

Does it count as a -power- or can we add it to anything? The widget can't be traded, but once used on an item can the item ever be traded?
After being used on an item, if it can't be traded does it mean we can't "show" it to others via the exchange menu? How does it work mechanically?

It does not count as a power when first adding it to an item however it will count towards the power limit if you go to mythal that item later on.

Thx. Used it on her Scarab of Protection plus......oh no!!!!!!!

I used it on the +5 scarab of protection and then realized it's possible to get a + 6 !!!!!!

So I guess it's tough luck for me ????

I know it's written to choose wisely but I just realized a few seconds AFTER I used it.

Had I realized, i'd have used it on her Petite Shoes of Intuition which will never change.

You'd need to convince someone to help you by using theirs on your shoes. That amulet would sell for crazy amounts I imagine.

I don't know if this should be posted in the Bug section but I noticed the Temporal Essence still had a charge in it, even after having used it. It didn't dissapear from my inventory. So I used the charge on the Petite Boots of Intuition after realizing the error of using it on the Amulet.

Though, now i've got two items with the "Temporal" prefix on them, so I wanted to report it.

If this is seen as an exploit, I wish to point out I wrote this post immediately after and am willing to have the "Temporal" ability taken away from one of the items, preferably the amulet if possible. ( I hope my honesty counts )

The Temporal Essence dissapeared after the second use though.
