i am just comming back to amia after a few years of rest

i have installed the 1.69 update and the hotu hak v3c
how do i get into the server these days?
please help.

Is it booting you after joining? If so, you may need to have your CD key authorized. You can do that by making a new character and asking a DM to authorize you.

no i cant even get to the server. i start the game and enter into "internet game" nothing is there

Ah. Gamespy apparently went ass up. Try using the direct connect option and pasting this into the server field:

Server A
84.243.255.52:5121

or

Server B
84.243.255.52:5122

that got me in with one of my toons a 2nd lvl, thanks for your help.
i had two epics and two right at it i was hopeing would still be there though. not sure i wanna do them again. thanks for the help though

If you can recall your old login you can use the Amia player tools utility to restore them in most circumstances. If not, with luck an admin can restore them if you PM one of them, or post a request.

It is on the sidebar to your left under About Amia.

Or maybe your epics got archived, try using the f_file commands. There's a description, in one of the journal's articles. But here they are, for quick reference:
(always in the shout channel)

f_file show <vault or archive>
f_file restore <character name or archive number>
f_file store <character name or vault number>
