I have a friend by the name of Philamon Starborn, aka berrett, and he is not the best RP'r but he is trying. I have RP'd with him on multiple occasions on my necromancer Valkun Everdark. He was a subject to my tests as well as an obedient thrall. He played with me as I summoned undead, and helped me capture other people for tests. I recently converted him from the Church of Mystra to that of Velsharoon, a rather large jump. He understandably got the fallen widget, which is okay. Now it is coming on two weeks, and he is still bound by this. A DM whom I will not name refuses to even discuss this with me. My buddy, as fun as he is to play with, is not the most eloquent with his words, and I was only seeking to clarify that he indeed converted, that he indeed was committing "evil" in game acts, and that he was earning his way away from being Fallen.

I need to speak to a DM about this who will respect this line of RP, thank you.

To answer Derk, who seemed surprised at the idea that players DEMAND DM time even when they are busy, I say, case in point, sir.

PS... as always, it's not the best idea to make topics like this. You handle it by PM. When you make topics like this, all you're doing is hurting your own, and your friend's credibility.

Time isn't the deciding factor. Time doesn't mean something needs to be 'respected'. Time doesn't determine how good or bad a line of RP is. Time really doesn't mean anything except that: Time. If it takes you a month to do something that someone else does in three days, that doesn't make either of you better at RPing one way or another.
