I haven't played in about half a year.
When I go to log on (with everything I needed beforehand when I played a few months ago), I am met with denial due to a lack of amia_tlk_v3b.tlk. I was wondering where I can get this file and if this is everything I need. Also, once I have it, where do I put it, etc.

It comes in the HAK bundle. It should have downloaded with the other HAK stuff. Look around in your NWN folder and make sure it didn't get stuck in a subfolder in the NWN\HAK\ or NWN\TLK\ folders. It needs to be in NWN\TLK\ in order to work right.

Thank you! I was reading around here and caught wind of a new (ish) Hak bundle. I am downloading it now. Can I get some advice on how to get a DM for a Roleplay event and what would be the best way to earn DCS?

Best way to earn DCs is Roleplay and in my opinion no to minimal Party Chat and //ooc.
I'll let a DM answer your other question.

You can micromanage partychat and IC just fine. Keep them in separate windows.

Yes, we can micromanage party chat. I was just giving my -opinion- on the best way to get DCs.

Also, don't be afraid to hit up another person that's had some exceptional roleplay with the Green Stick. Usually that'll signal some attention, and if the roleplay is deserving of blanket DC's, they'll be given. But as Derk mentioned, don't judge your quality or the quality of your play by the amount of DC's you have. ..judge it by the amount of people tell-spamming you when you log in.
