I've been reading the boards alot trying to learn as much as I can before getting into the server. Think later tomorrow night (crosses fingers) I'll make it finally. Got the brand new diamond edition today to install so, once that is in an I get the hak packs and stuff....in we come.

My question is this....

I have seen quite a few people mentioning their RP sessions in stories and the RP Praise thread. Some have mentioned welcoming new folk into these....so...here is a open invitation to tell me a bit about your RP and group...

Give me your best sales pitch, story, reason, whatever you would like to tell me about your times and travels...and maybe i can find a place to fit into one or two of the ongoing RPs?

Of course, the two characters I plan on right now are Cedric and Kali but, as I am not locked into them yet, I'm open to possibly fitting into another skin so to speak.

Please let me know if you are interested either here or in a PM...and as always, I'm interested in feedback and thoughts on my own stories.

And I have some ideas for RP in my head buzzing....which makes the slowness of getting into the world a bit...frustrating....

well i always take the opportunity to speak for the lesser used monster races that amia has wonderful options for including a dynamic model for goblins and kobolds (meaning they can wear armor and weapons and change their heads, not just look like the standard monster)
my character maggot bucktooth is the only active member of the faction though at one point there were several dozen bucktooths. if you were to make a goblin, hobgoblin, orc, half orc, or basically any other monster race besides kobold or half dragon then you could come be in the faction (granted you play a non good character). i specialize in rping with everyone i see. sometimes as a story teller, or a merchant, a murderer, a cultist, a knowledgeable wizard, a helpful but ominous stranger, or sometimes even living scenery. being maxed level for so long ive developed many storys that do not have gaining levels in mind and are focuses entirely around character development of myself and others. even though maggot is slow to change it is great fun to see the effect other characters have on him from time to time, for better or worse.
not to mention, the delicious perks *wink winks and slides over a bag of coins and strange torture impliments*

I'll chime in on behalf of some fantastic roleplayers involved in all sorts of dark shadowplay.

Assassinations, sleuth behavior, infiltration, espionage, rituals, dark politics- All sorts of good things. I'd gladly divulge information through PM's if you might be interested in any of these things. Amia's got all sorts of flavors of evil, and I've played both the most holy of clerics to the darkest of dancers- and I'm extensively loving my current Shadowplay storyline. Our goal is to be a veritable catalyst for the development of the stories of the good/neutral by providing chaos, an enemy, a cause, etc. Not to mention all the political back-stabbings Team Evil so thoroughly enjoys.

Anyway, sorry for the fairly broad response- but if you think this might be up your alley, feel free to shoot me a PM. I'd gladly provide more detailed information in a more personal environment.

Also, don't be concerned over making a faction or group define your character. When this kind of information is all learned ICly, it makes it -that- much more worth it. But I DO understand that being a part of a group in a new atmosphere is fantastic- at the very least to get you on your feet. Whatever you choose- enjoy yourself, mate.

I've already gone over Tarkuul with you, the home of Knowledge, be it good or bad. We're always eager for players, but I try to do as much as humanly possible in the game itself. ;)

Sent you a PM back...its wonderful to have so many ways to RP but sad to have little time to do it. Hope we can do something.

If you spend any time at all at the crossroads of Amia Forest, you will surely be witness to a multitude of ongoing events.
The crossroads is the geographical and cultural center of the island.
Many come there and openly speak of events they are involved in.
