My main character spends most of his time in B-mia, and I only use the housing system there so it may be a localized issue.

When I try to use the Housing Widget to give another PC a key to the house I am renting, I get an error message saying that the PC already has a key. This was tried many times, during different reset times, with the PCs in the same party or not, it just absolutely doesnt work. If I try to give them a key outside the house, the message is that I must be inside the house to do it, and inside it doesnt work at all.

There is also a big problem of PCs spawning inside player houses, and house transitions going completely crazy sometimes. From experience, if I log off inside my PC's house, there is a big chance he will spawn inside someone else's. He's already had people spawn inside his house when he was there. After an event this week that took place in another PC's house, almost every PC that participated just couldnt use their own house transitions without returning to the house where the event took place, this happened at least 3 times to a number of PCs.

As to the first one, this happens when the other player already has a key. The only work around I have found for this is to drop a key on the ground for them and let them pick it up.

As to the second part this is a side effect of the way custom houses are run on Amia. Let me explain - We run each module with 8 generic "house" areas that are dived out to players on an as needed basis. This mean is player X is the only one on and they go into their house they will enter the area House_1. Now if player Y logs on before player X leaves and they go to their house the system sees that House_1 is being used so it sends them to House_2. Now, say player X leaves the game to get lunch, and player Z enters the game while they are out and decides to use their house. Well the system sees that House_1 is not not being used to player Z enters House_1 area. Now all along the system dynamically spawns all the furniture and what not that each person customizes and when they leave the area it cleans all their stuff out. So, if player Z is still on when player X returns and they spawn in they would return to House_1 (the area they were in when they logged off) but it would look like player Z's house now, and there would be strangers in there.

That's pretty much what you have been seeing.

The easiest fix for this is to stop logging off while you are in your house. Step outside the door, log off and when you log back on you can go right back inside your house and then you won't find yourself ever in someone else's house unexpectedly.
