Whilst the next time I cast Searing Light, un-maximized, it appropriately did 45 damage.

Osiris has Epic Spell Focus: Evocation.

It seems that the new scripts ignore the new dice when you use maximize spell, at least for Searing Light, but possibly for other spells as well - I have not yet tested others.
