"I, Wetzel, have a task for any adventurers who are willing to embark on a trip to halt the Tyranny of a Great White Wyrm in the Great Glacier of the far north. The great Wyrm is known as Glacial Blizzard among the locals for its tenacity to reek terror and death from the cover of some of the most deadly blizzards the material plane has ever known. The Wyrm is malformed having two large overgrown tusk-like fangs that hyper extend past its jawline.
Killing the beast is optimal but most unlikely. I post this contract for the attendance of around ten able bodied individuals to assist me in maiming, killing, or at the very least deterring the beast from its current territorial expansion.
I will pay fifty thousand gold for all who attend. An additional two hundred thousand gold if you are able to maim the beast or adequately halt its expansion. If we slay the beast I will give half a million gold to all who attend. You will not be allowed to keep any scales, bones, or other tokens from the dragon.
Trackers, trap specialists, mages, and more will all be required. The beast is beyond clever and we must draw it out. I will only take as many as I can move so be prepared to impress me with your talent and your ideas."
I would consider it an honor to take on this quest. If a White wyrm is terrorizing people, I also see it as a personal duty to aid in it's destruction. I am no mage, nor can I unset a trap, but, I can guarantee you I will stand strong against any foe, and defend my compatriots to my last breath to see this creature stopped. I myself carry the blood of an Ancient Gold dragon in my veins, and with that the willingness and ability to see this through.
If you consider me worthy of this task, I can be reached in Kohlingen at the Keep or I will simply check this notice board.

Anyone who checks Cordorian law can verify that the laws only apply within Cordor, and that to wit, the city does not really seem to care about a plan to kill a white dragon thousands of miles away. The Guild, therefore, seems pretty safe, from a legal standpoint.

I can clearly see now that this was either bait or has simply become a hunting ground. I can't say I'm surprised, and I hold no doubt that those threatening to slay any who pursue this quest won't make the attempt to do as they say. I am also little surprised that they try to sway opinion using concepts of good and evil, twisting the words. It's a well known fact that some beings are simply created and intended to be evil, and others are good. This is simple fact, not open to interpretation or discussion. The killing and harassment of a community of people, no matter where it is, is never a "good" thing. While I don't necessarily condone the killing of this white dragon unless there is no other option, any creature, be it dragonkind or no, that willfully attacks and harasses innocent communities should be dealt with, and I'm sure even my chromatic cousins would agree.
It does appear this quest is moot, and simply going to present more issues than it solves. I can hardly put others at risk to see it through knowing they will be hunted before it's begun, all to stop something in a far off land that none of us know anything about.
I do fear Stormwind's actions to "persuade" this Dragon serve her own purposes, as I doubt she will relocate this creature, instead, attempting to bend it to her purposes. Sending her the location will play directly into her plans, and I suggest the location not be revealed to her.
I highly suggest private communication on this matter, should it still be pursued. It's no secret I am of Kohlingen, and can be easily reached there.

// before this goes any further: This is silly. The policy that I was aware was that you check the boards and apply within. You know..presumably to the guild members that are always around. So there would be no long list of names to which Stormy and her guys could threaten. Also...all this IC discussion is in the wrong place. The argument that you are hunting down and "murdering an intelligent creature" is the worst. If it's intelligent then the mayhem and destruction it is wreaking is intentional, and you should expect action to be taken. Again this argument feels like it is in the wrong place, as this is a job posting. Posting a notice to kill people is an act of PvP. So don't be surprised if you get destroyed the minute after you hop off the cart somewhere as I would use said posting as an article of evidence in my impending, self defense court case. Also you posted the intent to commit murder within the walls of Cordor.I don't expect people to react to that as casually as you expect.I would recommend retracting said posting before someone appeals to the law knights that you be banished from Cordor as you are clearly murderers. Tighten up your shot groups, the DM's are trying to do something fun. Let other people have fun too. This is a reminder that on the threads as much as in game it is very IC and the consequences to this can result in immediate pvp as you initiated it. // edit: conspiracy to commit murder is a crime. So even if the killing did not happen in Cordor, a crime was committed in writing, in broad daylight, in view of everyone and bears an official seal, making this a faction action, not a personal one.

// not trying to start shit but pointing out that clearly at the beginning of all of these responses to the job posting they are 'posting up their response with a note of their own. So therefore they would have names left for Stormwind. If you hadn't noticed, Stormwind posted her own job offering in this thread. just sayin
"I, Wetzel, will be following up with an expected departure schedule. I will arrange the transportation myself and I am afraid the high concentration of sympathetic Chromatic kindred will simply not be invited. I advise you all to prepare for weather colder than you could imagine."
I have a terrible discovery to share with you all. There is a place on this isle, near the Benwick Region, that is rife in both dragons and drow. Both are a great threat to the people of this isle. I would ask any adventurer wishing to rise up against them to band and take a stand, and drive these drow and dragons from our lands.
Undoubtedly they have much in the way of ill-gotten gains, as a reward for any who would slay these beasts.
