The original spell states it only works on slashing weapons. I saw the spell has been modified here to include all kinds of weapons including bows. I assume this means it also works on other melee weapons other then slashing? Can any here confirm this before I pick a melee weapon that isn't slashing. I don't want any DOH!! moments down the line. Thanks in advance |

Ranger's are imho the only one that can buff/keen all kinds of weapons properly. (Not sure if it keens bows, but it's known for keening e.g. blunt weapons.) edit: No keen for ranged weapons according to the page. Just +x AB/mighty. |

Yeah, it works on any slash/bludge/pierce melee weapon. I had a ranger that used it on a heavy flail. |

Blade Thirst give a bow bonuses to AB and Mighty. |

Blade Thirst is one of my favourite spells, honestly. On Amia especially. It frees up the chance to make a weapon that doesn't need to take up the mythal slots you would have had to before with AB/Enhance. +5/Keen is awesome, and having only recently focussed playing a ranger, I can easily say it's rapidly became one of my favourite classes, and Blade Thirst is a big plus in my eyes on an already pretty strong kit. That is with out including both Dex and Strength rangers are just as viable as the other. |
