Hi All,

I've long been a reader of the dragonlance novels does/can any of the lore be used in my character or is dragonlance a completely separate entity?

Prime example would be could i relate my RDD to a draconian of Takhisis?

Many thanks.

They're entirely different settings, despite sharing some gods. And since Forgotten Realms doesn't have very prevalent interaction from other spheres, unlike something like Ravenloft, you'd probably need DM permission to having a background from Krynn.

It'd need a request, yup.

To actually save you a bit of time and potential frustration Monkeycoder, the staff have discussed the Dragonlance setting and feel that it's just too far removed from our core Forgotten Realms setting that Amia uses. The Draconic and Magic pantheons alone are entirely other from what is well established on our server and is in general too different to mesh with our setting, as opposed to something like the Planescape setting which is designed in tangent with Forgotten Realms. So we unfortunately wouldn't accept any carry over from the Dragonlance setting into Amia, and wanted to let you know that upfront to save you the time and frustration before writing a request that would not be approved.
