Oh man.

The entire The Last Mythal book series.
Races of Faerun
Lords of Darkness

And... here, for a basic overview.

I have the pdf of Races of Faerun. I'll Kindle the Last Mythal series. And that last site is...ridiculously helpful.

I have a mechanical question, though. How would a fey'ri emulate the ability to shapechange on Amia? The thousand faces widget? Or a specified, unique widget, designed for only medium sized shapes?

There's a unique widget for them already in existence that allows them to change between their true form and that of a disguise.

But you don't get that without paying the dc cost naturally. Otherwise you should know the only good fey'ri is a dead fey'ri. (Sune posted the good lore sources for them already)

The Last Mythal trilogy is a very good read. I just finished it last week.

Keep in mind that only the first book has transpired in the amian timeline.
