Adam Fairchild stopped to run a hand through his hair. He then pressed his thumb and index finger against his eyes, rubbing them in a measure of exasperation. Across from his desk stood Geran Vaisan, Captain of the Cordor Guard, his helmet tucked under his arm. The Speaker's office was quiet, aided by the Private Sanctum spell which shielded it from outside eyes and ears.

"How many were lost?" Adam sighed. He was only forty-three years old, but he suddenly felt seventy as the weight of the news gradually sank onto his shoulders.

"Eleven of the twelve," Geran said grimly. "They went north without expecting anything out of the ordinary. Last fellow, Jirgen is the name, said they came upon them suddenly. Outta nowhere."

"They came from somewhere," the Speaker growled as he stood and began to pace. Captain Vaisan watched the man's movements. "How many more scouts do we have in reserve?"

"We didn't have any reserve before. These were from Active Duty."

Adam paused and turned his head toward the curtained window. "What did Minister Barrera suggest?"

"Mobilization."

The Speaker sighed. "Only way we can do that is if we put out a call to adventurers. We don't have the numbers to support mobilization on our own. It'll leave the city wide open."

"Barrera said that choosing between doing nothing and taking a chance on minimal resources just means neither choice will be the right one." The Captain frowned deeply, lines creasing his brow. "Much as I hate to say it, I agree. With that and her conscription proposal."

Adam closed his eyes again, taking a deep breath. He had only been in office for a few months. The city was looking up. They had passed the Unification and all Districts had begun to work together. But they were not prepared for this. They simply hadn't had enough time yet to get back on their feet since the last Ministry was ousted.

He opened his eyes again and looked at the Captain, about a decade older than him. He was a good man, diligent and devoted to the safety of the city. Of all the men who could be standing here before him now, Geran Vaisan was one he trusted wholly.

The Speaker's gaze drifted to the papers scattered on his desk. Among them lay a drawing of his own likeness, completed by an unfamiliar hand and delivered with equally dire warnings. His eyes narrowed.

"Do as the Minister suggested. We can't waste any more time." He looked up when the Captain saluted him. "Let me worry about getting the other Ministers on board."

"As you say," Geran clipped. He then pivoted on his heel and turned to leave the room. The Speaker followed soon after, the drawing clutched in his hand.

----------

Throughout Cordor, notices appear on every bulletin board, within every business. A city-wide conscription has been enacted. Healthy men aged 17 to 39 are required to join an emergency militia, in answer to threats from outside the walls.

Many of the people are alarmed by the decree, and it is quickly apparent that the people are not prepared to adhere to the mandatory conscription. Cries of outrage fill the streets for the first several hours following the announcement.

Guards throughout the city are forced to arrest those who lash out as Minister Barrera makes her rounds with her team of officials. At one point, she takes a rock to the face and has to stop to seek medical attention. The one responsible - a man in his twenties from Cordor East - is swiftly jailed.

In South Cordor, the trade and passenger ships see some increased activity as a number of individuals simply leave, preferring the safety of the sea and the Mainland to whatever has forced the city's hand this day.

In North Cordor, farmers kiss their wives and mothers, largely obeying the call to arms. The folk of the northern district are hardy, used to long hours and manual labor. Even the women and children are quickly prepared to take up the slack.

In Central Cordor, mages are seen leaving the Nexus headquarters with grim determination. The few citizens who reside there, already reeling from a recent string of burglaries, take to the news of the conscription with an air of numb shock, generally signing the necessary forms with distant eyes.

In West Cordor, the eligible men spit in the faces of the officials who come by. Several arrests originate from the streets of the West, but Minister Bouvier is able to mitigate their protest, reminding the people that West folk are strong, and if they're needed to help keep the entire city safe, then it's something to which they should gladly submit - lest they have nothing to protect.

In Guldorand, women and children weep for fathers, sons, and brothers who make ready to depart for Cordor.

----------

Finally, a notice is prominently placed in each district.

ATTENTION

The city of Cordor asks volunteers whom have experience in battle tactics, fortification, and combat training to report to Captain Geran Vaisan in Cordor South. Recent sightings and skirmishes with monsters outside the walls has spurred the Ministry to enact emergency procedures.

Help us fight off this newly forming Horde!

//An event will take place starting in Cordor South at 8pm GMT, tomorrow (Friday, June 14th).

News of an attack spread quickly through the city and surrounding areas. Monsters - mylocks, goblins, and other beasts- as well as some unexpectedly powerful Undead had struck the western coast and gate, resulting in dead travelers and livestock alike. With the help of adventurers, the city was able to push back the assault. Meanwhile, as the city began to recover, a storm brewed in the east. As torrential rain battered the east coast, a group of people investigated the source. Some time later, they hurried to Cordor to warn them of their findings. This resulted in rumors spreading through the city of an Undead horde to match the monster horde, and panic began to take the beleaguered people.

The city has been placed into a state of emergency, with calls for aid reaching far and wide...

Another attack came upon the city today - hordes of Undead battered the Festival Grounds and encroached on the frontier as risen pirate zombies moved inland in search of the living. The screeching of goblins filled the frontier, soon followed by the sounds of battle as adventurers joined members of the Cordor Guard in pushing the Undead waves back. In the Festival Grounds, the remains of countless powerful Undead left a grotesque sight to those who came upon it later. Waterlogged husks of bone and decayed flesh marred the once beautiful grounds. The city, already in a state of emergency, receded further into itself.

-----

Captain Vaisan can be seen directing civilians to leave the farmlands and seek shelter in the city proper - given the number of people who have abandoned the city already in light of the attacks, it just so happens that there is room for them, after all.

It is a slow process, doing this. The people of the North District try to leave as best they can with the persistent rain slowing them down. Minister Estes and her secretary, Jeffery Abbott, remain out in the North District with their guard escort, overseeing the painfully slow process.

The morning after the attack, the young Paladin calling herself Mihaela Sămășescu of the Valiant Order of Imperator returns to the city. Having made herself at the disposal of Captain Vaisan, she spends most of her time in Cordor and the surrounding area, assisting with various tasks - primarily regarding healing the sick and wounded who have been affected by the chaos in the city, with a mix of her surgical and medical training and her Ilmater-given powers, and aids those in the North attempting to flee into the city proper. She particularly concerns herself with ensuring families remain together during their flight, and helps the old and less able in their evacuation by helping them along, or carrying their belongings. The Ilmateri Paladin also offers her ear for those who are overwhelmed, terrified or simply hopeless in the face of the nightmare the city has found itself in, comforting the lost and encouraging the dispirited with kind words and exhortations to endure, to keep faith that all will be well.

Coinciding with this are her efforts to persuade the doomsayers and charlatans preaching of the end of days, of the "inevitable" destruction of Cordor, to cease their rabble-rousing and to stop adding fuel to what she considers a volatile situation. She argues with them, attempting to counter their pessimistic predictions with a mix of theological arguments and reasoning, particularly pointing out how many powerful adventurers have come to aid the city's population, and how, in spite of the Horde's vast numbers, they have failed to even breach the walls.

Her message, ultimately, is one of hope and endurance - that however terrible things may be, this too will pass.

Though she seems very active and eager to do these things, it's clearly having an effect on her, exhausting her. It is not helped by her insistence on sleeping under the stars in the city, refusing to divest herself from the suffering of the poorest and least fortunate, those who lack shelters to rest in, with only her small camping cot to fall onto when she can finally do no more.

*A neatly written letter, in common made it's way to Captain Vaisan's desk*

"Captain. Currently patrolled areas indicate the following:
Goblin Barrows remain purely Goblin.
Orc Controlled Areas between North Cordor and Bendir have Goblins Fighting alongside Orcs, even in the caves.
Trolls in the Crags have Orc presence
Mylocks in the Mylock hills and Ruins of Wyrmhold are mingled with Bloodmoon Orcs.
Bloodmoon patrolled areas are currently solely Bloodmoon.
Malarites in the Forest of Despair remain homogeneous.
The outlying areas of Guldorand remain hostile with no detectable Horde presence.
Cape Slakh, just spiders.
Bloodmoon Orcs in the Northern Swamps
Southern Swamps remain strictly Myconid and Troglodyte
Beast men near Kholingen remain alone, aside from the ones usually mixed in with feral gnomes before approaching the domain of Lizardfolk
Lizardfolk remain alone.
Bitter coast remains controlled by Brigands
Gulf of Lumorier up to the Ruins of Kholingen, Brigand controlled.
Central Amian hills remain goblin controlled, aside from a few Gibberlings.
Bendir Bay region remains controlled by shambling undead and sea trolls.
Serpent Isle; Yuan-ti only
Demonreach; Vegepygmies
This list is as comprehensive as I have the time for at current, I hope this paints a more accurate depiction of the horde's location and composition."

The evacuation of the northern district continues, alongside rumors that the undead to the east are continuing to encroach. The festival grounds are completely abandoned, though the guard and some craftsmen spend the better part of the day erecting a makeshift barricade within the grounds. The effort is abandoned as well when the workers are ambushed by zombies.

Most citizens clear out of the North, with the Adventuring Guild and tavern workers remaining in the Rusty Hoe for now. Guards continue to roam the area and urge any lingering to go into the city proper for safety - or to be careful if they mean to go outside the district walls.

a lone man, part of the group that originally found the news of the undead horde, is seen heading east.

the sounds of explosions and other magical attacks might be heard off in the distance. It seems he is trying to cull the numbers as they come from the sea.

Later he can be seen onto the wall. perched with his staff in hand, keeping an ever watchful eye on the city's interior, and that which is outside the walls of safety.

Another missive is sent to the city of Cordor, but this one is posted publicly and seen by many before anyone has the opportunity to take it down. The officials of the city thus leave it posted publicly, taking down copies for their own uses and records.

Ministry and People of Cordor,

I write to you to inform you that Gerald Edmund, seeking the power of my own station,
attempted to assassinate myself and to take control of the Living City's resources. In his efforts
to do so, he has acted out of hand and caused chaos to strike your city in our name. The leadership of the
Living City condemns Gerald Edmund and the actions he has taken to break the seal
on the east coast of your isle.

We have been aware of this seal for many years. Wayward necromancers hailing from our halls
were responsible for the disaster decades ago which created the swarms buried beneath the sea. A young
fey-blooded guardian placed a powerful ward over the land, sacrificing her very spirit - and
that of her lover - to ensure that the dead did not rise to destroy the living.

The Living City has had no hand in or purpose to break this seal, and we have already begun to make
moves to solve this egregious act of unwarranted chaos. Furthermore, we are aware that wayward necromancers
have been bolstering the so-called Horde which threatens your city. We are prepared to aid you in hunting these rogue
magi down and putting them in their place. We will not tolerate actions which jeopardize the Living City's primary purpose:
the pursuit and freedom of knowledge.

We will understand if you refuse our aid. We will act on our own if that is your choice. But let it be
known that we have placed a bounty on Gerald Edmund's head. If he is taken to you, however,
then you may have him.

In service,
~ Mherun Xilphas ~

The city of Cordor is again thrust into a tizzy as more mage guards are drawn from the Nexus and take up positions in all the districts. Soon they begin to open portals for the lines of people who have prepared for a mandatory evacuation. These portals point to various locations on the Mainland, where they seem to have been approved by the local governments. Some citizens choose instead to travel via the Triumvir portal lamps to other more recognizable locations, and others still make the journey to Guldorand.

When asked about the evacuation portals, many citizens and most guards about the city whom attempt to maintain order freely mention the talk of pirates boarding the ships that had already left with evacuees. The portals, it seems, are their answer to the threat to the people's safety.

Word spreads that a skirmish took place the day before between a group of adventurers and many members of the so-called Horde tribes. Orcs, mylocks, Yellowfang spiders, and Undead alike were seen on the battlefield. The sounds of battle could be heard in Bendir Dale and even Cordor. A storm followed the battle, washing away many signs of the struggle. The orcs took the greatest hit, though, and the northern frontier is especially quiet over the days following.

In Cordor, Speaker Fairchild urges citizens to stay within the city. In Bendir Dale, the militia increases their patrols and guard presence. Even Guldorand tightens defensive measures - just in case.

Undead along the coast grow even more restless, some even starting to venture closer to Cordor. The guards make short work of them whenever they draw near the gates in the northern district, though.

It seems the monsters surrounding the southern half of the isle are starting to grow bold...

Missives go out to the leadership of the following locations: Bendir Dale, The Shrine of Eilistraee, Winya Ravana, and Wharftown. Copies are also sent to active guards and visiting members of other factions who have been stationed in Cordor, as well as to a more discreet location...

The Speaker's MissiveFellow Amians, Adventurers, and Defenders of the People,

I call a meeting of minds to discuss the matter of the Horde. Our scouts have discovered some more information and I think it is time that all intelligence that different parties have gleaned should be shared so that this menace does not gain more of a foothold than it already has.

I will host this meeting within the City Hall located in Cordor East in a few days time. If you are able, please send a representative or attend in person. Let us work together to face this threat.

May the gods guide us to unity.

Adam Fairchild
Speaker of Cordor

[A letter is sent pointed to the Speaker of Cordor]

Honorable Speaker of Cordor,

We had hoped for you timely response towards the invitation extended to your people weeks ago on this very subject. To gather various factions of the island for a meeting in Winya Ravana, in which this matter could have been covered. Yet, no response was received from your end.

Considering the lack of interest it was though Cordor had no particular desire for collaboration. And while it is delightful to see that such seems not to be the case based on your message. While we have extended once our interest for collaboration, this matter will be taken now to the Council to discuss and no commitment either way will be made on this time until Council has found decision.

Lady Las'Claianna Le'Quella

The movements of the Horde army have been noticed by many throughout the last several weeks. Mylocks mixing in with everything from orcs to goblins, strange undead creatures spotted with trolls, and even talk of gibberlings and yuan-ti becoming involved. Most of the activity seems to be centered near and surrounding Bendir Dale. Whatever they are planning, it seems to be coming to a head...

//There will be a big event on Monday, September 30th at 7pm GMT/3pm EDT. There will be an IC announcement in Bendir Dale shortly before this time.

As the darkness of the Horde seems to become more and more active, the elven people are advised to patrol the borders of their forest realms in larger number, increased care and gear. Councilor Le'Quella seeming to intent her people to weather through this storm in their home, advising the security being tightened within the city proper. The phrase "Ward against those whom seek to destroy instead of create" spoken more often by her. Yet, few elven runners made their way to Cordor, Shrine and Bendir Dale.

In teh dead of the night through a raging storm Matthew accompanied by Kuria make their way from Knight's Hallow after some intense discussion and pass through the creepy wet lands through the festival ground and off in to the swamps out side of West Cordor. They look over the red glowing portal and have a bit of a moment together and after words as Matthew leads Kuria away from the red glow. They dispatch any and all unread in their way and venture through northwards of the swamp pausing to investigate what looked to be an empty slave camp on the verge of Blood moon territory. They go through the back passages and make their way through blood moon territory and down to Wyrm hold. The grave site is over looked and the center bit of land is over looked. Some more hushed discussion is had here before they venture back to Cordor.

Lady Councillor Las'Claianna Le'Quella can be seen setting within Bendir Dale, dressed in full equipment, she seemed to prepare for a battle. While waiting within the settlement, she spoke with the militia. Trying to give them encouraging words and ensuring that in united stand those that would seek to destroy instead of create, would face only failure.

As the dragon turtle was slain Kuria returned to the frontier from trying to notify the people of the Grove and Kampo's. Surveying the damage to the people she decided she must act quickly. With the people from Cordor having fled to either the west or the north there was no way to easily consolidate the injured into one area. Given the proximity of Bendir Dale she set off back toward Cordor to establish a field hospital there. She approached out of Wharftown and made her way to the western gate.

As she got set up orders were barked out to any within earshot. Getting cots set up, gathering needed supplies, clearing out any ogling riff raff. Anybody that questioned her was told to either assist or keep out of her way. If she ran low on bandages she called on those able to go to get more and paid them to do so. She worked until she saw to everyone she could no matter the stress and strain on her body and mind. Once all who could be seen to were she would head back to check the status on those that fled north.

// I had to leave for work before everything was done. Kuria has a base hel skill of 17 and items that will push that higher so she's not going to be stuffing guts back in but she can see to scrapes, bruises, broken bones, and the like. Please let me know what kind of cost we are looking at for her necessary supplies and I will take care of it with a DM when we can.

Murmurs around Cordor and various other locations indicate that a group is being gathered to prepare for a strike against the Horde. The Wave and Serpent Guild appear to be helping to wrangle adventurers into a good time for it without giving away too much information openly.

Elves throughout Winya Ravana rally to a call to defend the city. The felldrakes return from Bendir Dale to heed the same call. Apparently many have received a short-notice warning of an impending attack, and they seem to be taking it seriously. The term "demons" has been mentioned, which rallies the felldrakes further. Vaexirnira joins High Captain Amilith in helping to organize the defensive measures.

“Are you fucking kidding me?”

The shattering of stone, blades flying from their scabbards and the glimmer of steel passing his head. The shouts of deceived allies was abruptly cut short as the world around him distorted and shifted. Then it was cold. Silence and the creepy atmosphere of the Living City of Tarkuul greeted him in a heartbeat.

Dusting the remains of the recall trinket from his hand, the traitor had barely familiarised himself to his surroundings before pulled out a potion, chugging it down. The tastelessness of the liquid mind blank was a trial to put up with, as always.

He knew this day was going to come eventually, he had played the possibilities of how these events would unfold over and over in his head. Most of the time, he was smug in openly admitting his allegiance, declaring he had been a spy for quite some time. The bronze dragons, Endir’s Point, Tarkuul’s special operations force… there was a lot he wanted to claim credit for. But when faced with a room of what, fifteen angry adventurers? One cannot afford to get too complacent.

Spying was always a hard game. It was a lot more than creeping in the shadows and dancing with words. It relied heavily on the discretion of others, not to show their hand lest it risk exposing someone else. The events leading to him being called out were nothing unique, there were many times before when careless action had almost exposed him. Then, it had either been a case of luck or incompetence that no one made the right observations and connected the dots to him. Nevertheless, if you cast the dice long enough, eventually you would come up with a loss.

The drow gave a long sigh before stripping down. Drakos’ familiar vestments were quickly replaced with darkened hide and a pelt of otherworldly origin. He had acted undercover for years, ever since he and Rizzen had joined the Ne’sek Crusade under the guise as adventurers for hire and he had long grown bored with the occupation of a spy. False smiles and tedious conversations were a poison he had been fed for years now, and to now to be free from much of it…

It was liberating.

Gazing over the bar he had been teleported to, he took a goblet and poured himself some wine from his own stock. A toast, to the now retired Drakos. Identities were simply masks, characters to be cycled through to fulfil a role. Once that character had fulfilled his purpose and could contribute no more, it was time to lay it down and find another.

After a short drink and another mind blank, the traitor stepped out in the Court of the Living, quickly been greeted by a familiar wight. What followed was the usual, some silent words and another secret meeting.

Reason stated the best course of action was to hide away for a few years and wait for this to blow over, until the anger of his former allies had simmered down. Unfortunately, Kerath was a drow that always liked to play.

All around the frontier, the usual monster activity is remarkably quiet. There is an occasional skirmish, as they have been doing lately, but otherwise it is almost dead silent. Nightfall brings an eerie silence. It's as if the animals can sense something brewing and have vacated the area. There are no songbirds or foraging rabbits. Just...

Nothing. Except a heavy weight of dread which makes many around Bendir Dale uncomfortable.

Due to the clear silence before the storm, a certain mercenary has struck an accord and has set up camp just across the bridge behind the town hall in bendir dale (with approval of a/the lieutenant of the bendir militia).

He can be seen doing patrols around the area looking for any signs of the greater storm that's brewing. But he does not act on behalves of the militia, he leaves that to the militia itself, clearly he's here for the big troubles. In his /off/ times he can be found in his camp, or behind the forge there.

If any of the travelers or local residents come by and visit then a seat, drinks, and whatever is on the fire is offered with great hospitality, and a laugh or a story is easily given!

Throughout the evening, seventeen more Law Knights arrive from Cordor to Bendir Dale, as well as fifteen Platinum Knights (and the silver half-dragon Hope) whom arrive via portal from Chalkcliff. The group of knights, now over forty in number between the two Orders, convene in a rather large assembly outside the Hinn Inn, going over plans for the following day. Commander Geran Vaisan appears to be in charge of the joint unit, with Lady Hope acting as his second for this campaign.

The huge bronze dragon, Thunderflight, can be seen occasionally flying over the area throughout the evening and into the night, keeping a sharp eye on the frontier and surrounding areas. Evetal Savannah, known to some by another name, retires into the cave in the back of Bendir Dale following a conversation with Commander Vaisan and begins to work on some task which seems to interest her greatly.

In Amia Forest, a red-haired elf spreads news throughout Oakmist Vale, telling them of the role they have been asked to play in the coming days.

The preparations for the defense of Bendir Dale are in full swing, with a perhaps surprising amount of support from outside settlements and adventurers alike. There is a feeling of hope and determination around the Dale.

The battle in Bendir Dale was fierce and deadly. Catapults fired in both directions. Metallic dragons flew overhead and breathed their mighty elements down upon the enemy army. The Horde was nicknamed well (if not creatively), for it was indeed an amassed horde of monsters which came bearing down on Bendir Dale. In the end, King Gashnak sought the finest swordsman. He fought Ania, but the duel did not hold. It became a bloodbath as others joined in, trying to overwhelm him. Many fell in the attempt, for Gashnak's skill was beyond compare. But in the end, he fell beneath the might of the defenders of Bendir Dale, relishing in every sweep of his blades, every blow they struck him.

It would take time to recover. Militia, Ostlander Tempurans, Law Knights, Platinum Knights, and Winyan fell drakes alike suffered losses before returning to their homes. Only the contingent of Platinum Knights remained behind to help keep the peace while the good hin of the Dale took the time to quickly repair their demolished gates. The rest of the repairs would take more effort, but the damage was not as bad as it could have been.

Thunderflight, the huge bronze dragon, sleeps in the back of the Dale in her natural form, her already scarred hide sporting many new blemishes.

Word spreads quickly enough that the Dale is handing out reward money to any and all defenders of the Dale who were present for the assault.

In the aftermath of the battle, Mihaela Sămășescu spends much of the night tending to the wounded and dying who were retrieved from the battlefield, clad as she is in her black-and-burgundy robes and mask scented with roses in its beak. With a mix of divine healing arts, assisted by her god's blessings and magical equipment, and her own skillful ministrations as a surgeon and physician with her many salves, sutures, bandages and other items, she does her best to stabilize and improve the odds for those maimed and wounded - and provides comfort and blessings for those whose wounds are too severe for her to save. She does not differentiate between Cordorians or Hin, Platinum Knights or Ostlanders, adventurers or Tempurans. She is not alone - her partner, the Drow Xa'chena, helps her as well, lending her own battlefield medical expertise to Mihaela's efforts. Between the two of them, with their experience and training, more than a few lives and limbs could be saved.

After the battle had been won and a brief rest Ania Viranirn remains behind in the Dale to assist the halflings with any needed manual labour or patrols along the roads, checking in with Wilfire to make sure weakened areas were covered and removal of any stragglers from the outlying hills. When offered coin from the Dale, she refuses it and insists that her share be donated to those who have lost family members or property to help with the loss. Once it became clear that the Dale was returning to normal she departs for Winya Ravana, making for whatever awaits her there.

*Those orcs displaced by the loss of their 'king' and who thought the forest would mask their retreat, that the green would at least offer some mercy from dragon wrath and mans steel... thought wrong. As others tended the wounded and counted their dead, those few of the forest who stood and fought also tended their own as the wolf form lycan, joined by a large dire wolf, hunted those that fled. Unhindered by the restraints of open conflict, unchecked by the eyes of others... the beast seemed more savage. It clawed and lashed, bit and tore at those who ran and while some might question whether right or wrong to attack those in retreat... the running and fleeing only seemed to fuel the creatures desire to hunt them down.

This wasn't a hunt for food, nor seemingly one of mercy for the green in places turned red as a balance was weighed and the earth took back those once given life! However, there was perhaps an oddity in all of this for while the beast seemed lost to a frenzy of rage and terror at times it would pause over a fallen, not quite dead victim and question. Words about men, beast or bat and those lycan cursed crossed its lips as if seeking a riddle answered... death would come if no answer was given as the hunt continued, but for what?*

Word eventually spreads through all the major settlements regarding the number of fallen in the assault on the Dale. The various areas which feel the loss of life host their own ceremonies and funerals, but the overall feeling of victory keeps most hearts high. The victory was decisive, with losses minimal considering the sheer force of the army that had come down upon the Dale. Most damage appears to be done to the gates and walls, but the residents of Bendir Dale have taken quickly to repairs. The gates are replaced first, swiftly, and the Bronzebeards take point on the repair of the walls of the Dale.

The Fallen19 Bendir Dale Militia and Citizens
15 Ostland Tempurans
3 Platinum Knights
2 Law Knights
2 Winyan Felldrakes

The Frontier shook this day as a large group of adventurers took to the orc caves in answer to a threat from lingering remnants of the Horde army. They crushed the enemy, and destroyed a fell altar. They did not come away completely unscathed, but they managed to do what needed to be done to crush the lingering dregs of the Horde army. The lands surrounding Bendir Dale return to some normalcy... Other than the occasional war party that attempts an assault. To a degree, the local tribes have been emboldened by the varying degrees of success King Gashnak's leadership led to. But the powerful Horde officers and other followers have finally been put down.

To the south, within the Bramble Woods, a tribe celebrates.

Word begins to spread gradually that the Brokentooth Clan in Bramble Woods has begun to give out rewards to people who helped destroy the unholy idol. They are taking chunks of the idol in exchange for the reward.

// Those who were present at the last event for the Horde plot (there were a lot of you!), I'll be around DM-side frequently this week to tend to the reward you were promised IC! Hit me up if I'm around and I'll do my best to get you! You all scattered too quickly the day of, so I tried throwing stones in all your inventories. Just turn them in when you wanna pick up!
