A dark figure that stood in the shadows could be seen in Endir's sometimes, now. There were often groups of people that even came to visit him, for those who spent a decent amount of time there, or were sent to watch. A couple elves. A group of Wardens. Even a drow, a necromancer and a being with fluffy white wings.
You way wonder who he was? He chose to go by Penumbra.
Gerald can be seen directing a small band of mercenaries who arrive by board into town, who mostly seem to take shifts keeping watch. The obvious leader among them carries an iron badge of a Skull impaled by a dagger encircled by a snake eating it's tail. Every so often Gerald comes to check on the men, and pay them on occasion.
The mercenaries keep to themselves for the most part, and don't cause trouble. There are six of them all told: 4 men and 2 women. All of them seem to be human at first glance. They dress in drab colors, favoring browns, bronzes, brasses, and other earth tones. The leader, who speaks for most of thee crew, introduces himself to travelles as "House", and his crew as "The Jester's Deck".

A red haired woman garbed in the typical attire of a woodland ranger would be seen coming to and fro within the town. Most recall seeing this floppy hatted archer frequenting the temple and seemingly standing guard over the roads and docks. She had been gone for some years according to some who might remember her from before but upon her return and realization of the activity going on, she seems to not be quite as exuberant as she had been in the recent past. A furrowed brow mars her otherwise fair visage as she watches with slightly narrowed eyes the goings on. Ever watchful, she still does her duty and offers blessings and guidance to travelers passing through. The days ahead will determine if she remains to take some action if necessary or simply leaves it all to the winds of change. As of yet, she seems undecided, simply keeping watch.

Elwyn Sabel can be seen buying some metals from the merchants in Endir's Point. After the fact she takes a brief moment of respite at the bar before casually making her way back to the docks.

A young, angelic woman departs from the docks this particular afternoon; aided by the luminescent staff clutched in hand, she descends upon the town in her quiet gait. She pauses as she sees two familiar faces. One winged fellow, dawned in Cordorian colors, and the dark bard opposite to him. They stood inches from one another, the enigma of a man reaching out towards the other with spindly digits.
She hustles toward them with a limp, setting a hand on the winged one's shoulder. Try as she might to get a response from either, none comes. A man lingers close, shrouded in an aura of death and decay, bids her warning to step away. But she does not.
It soon thereafter that a flurry of activity erupts without much respite in between. The angelic woman, the redheaded priestess, and her winged companion soon become victims of a violent attack headed by the necromancer. She is no match for his prowess, and quickly acquiesces to defeat. Perishing at the foot of the dark bard, who was too dazed to remain cognizant of the situation, is soon whisked away via portal.
The three dead bodies lie in the snow for a short time, blood leaking from the busted drums nestled in their ears. A goodly priest of Shaundakul relinquishes his post within the nearby temple to raise them. Even so, the angelic woman remained still, burrowed in the snow where she was slaughtered. It takes some effort to lift herself from the ordeal, but eventually, she musters it.

Walker is seen entering the town via portal. She heads directly for the temple to tend to her prayers and see if there is anything needed of her. She then makes her way to the inn nearby. Upon selecting a private dining room, she finds it already occupied. She apologizes and begins to exit as someone else enters the area. A winged man in Cordorian guard garb. The two men speak openly. During the conversation, yet another man enters the establishment. He is obviously an associate of the unwinged man, as they speak with familiarity. All four exit the building to continue the discussion, Walker keeping some space and watching over the town.
After a brief conversation, another winged individual arrives from the docks. She approaches the two men talking and tries to intercede in whatever is taking place. A blinding light is shining from the Cordorian's hand and the other is cringing. Neither man seems able to speak as the winged female continues to try to rouse both of them. Warnings are exchanged from the two watchers nearby.
Suddenly, the unwinged man drops to his knees and begins screaming a high pitched keening sound, causing those nearby to bleed from the ears. His associate begins casting spells, summoning an unnatural creature into the area. It begins attacking the two celestials. Walker attempts to aid those being attacked. As soon as this occurs, spores burst forth from the ground, called by the mage, causing a poisonous gas to fill the area, seeping into the lungs and onto the skin of those fighting nearby. The two celestials are quickly fallen, as is the bystander simply watching the roads and town as her duty as a priestess. All are slain.
Some short time later, a priest is seen leaving the temple to resurrect the bodies of the fallen. Finally after some time gathering her senses, Walker rises and helps the other female as well. The Cordorian seems to still be somewhat lost as to what occurred. Another individual arrives, an elven male with some kind of metal fashioned arm.
After some debate, Walker bid the others warm winds and took her leave, desperately needing a respite from the horrid afternoon. She leaves as she arrived.

A young halfling dressed in her thick leather winter-wear, whom some may venture to refer to as some variation of "the mayor," slowly makes her way along the road. Behind her, she drags a worn hand-cart, filled up with an assortment of furniture. The hin spends the next hour or so dragging furniture through the snow and into the old lighthouse, working until the cart is emptied. Once her labors are completed, the 'mayor' picks the cart back up and wheels it off, smiling to herself in her usual gentle fashion.

The one individual known around Endir's Point as Alumnus seems to be correcting any citizen or milita member about his name. When addressed as Alumnus he seems to simply dismiss the name with a wave of his free hand, and simply say "Illuminatus."
The Illuminatus seems to make his day to day visit of the civilization. Going within the Inn and speaking to some of the merchants. Selling unique artifacts to the gnome, and purchasing fresh materials from the gnomes companion. He eventually departs from the Inn and calls a portal to an unknown location. A little while goes by and he returns with a Dark Lord servant. Some may know his true name, others simply as Dark Lord servant. They step out of the portal and go towards the docks, and quietly speak. Soren seems to step off Guston's Ship and is stopped by the pair. They quietly speak over the incident the other day with the two Aasimars, and Walker. Ending their conversation on a short comment about Caron. The Illuminatus takes his departure towards Chillywick and leave the pair standing on the docks to discuss their own private matters.
Since the "incident," Caron-Penumbra seems to have kept a low profile. He may have been around and about, but not as obviously as others. Or maybe he wasn't there at all!
A man tends to those with illnesses - colds, the occasional flu, or those with injuries, with speed and efficiency. This man seems to be known around the town as the new doctor of the town; one with mystical abilities...
The massive half-orc known as Kriegnar is seen frequently in Endir's Point watching outsiders and even some residents suspiciously Some times by himself and other times in the company of one or more humanoid or savage human warrior.

Draven is seen more in Endirs these days, leaning against the building walls from time to time. He keeps a rigid posture at all times not really speaking to any that pass. Mostly keeping to himself, but his gaze can be caught staring at a few travelers here and there.

She's back!.. A certain blonde Bardess can once again be witnessed dancing and singing through the snowy streets of Endirs Point. If any one was to ask her purpose for being there this time, she would simply state that her family awaits a load of cargo in which is intended to be directed to Ostland. She would add that the family's Vessel was routed to Endir's Point first because of the recent Pirate activity in Ostland itself and it would be departing once passage was deemed safe enough to dock in Ostland Osthven..
Edited to add: She would also seek out Soren or Sigrin if only to confirm that the Lyonson Family could port their Vessel at Endirs Point?... Temporarily!.

The red haired priestess is still seen frequenting the area from time to time. She doesn't much interact with too many folks unless approached directly. On occasion she is seen standing upon the road side conversing with folks no matter the differences in their walks of life.

With the death of Capt. Marlo, the redheaded priestess seems to be spending more time about the town keeping guard and watching over the temple and residents. She visits the temple frequently, spending time with Father Teron, taking a step in their shared faith in attempts to be of more use and have a greater understanding of her purpose.
//OOC: Would like to get some DM interaction with Father Teron for whomever this area belongs to please Thanks in advance! ~MOD

Soon after a very active day in the Point, having stood by her duties to travelers and residents alike, the red headed priestess may be seen stepping into a rift to the Shadow Plane. She has not been seen since.

Once again yesterday, the two Doomguides of Kelemvor stride through the gates after appearing at the odd portal lamp. It would seem the only protection they have up is one that allows them to see any invisible individuals. It would seem they are following the request of those now in charge of Endirs Point, Mayor Sapple and Soren.
In any case, they waste no time in heading towards a certain rental home. Doomguide Drusus rents it and they disappear inside. Several hours later they exit the house. If it's even possible Drusus looks even more grim than ever before.
They depart the same way they came... by that odd lamp.

A week or two ago, a Hin is seen purchasing camping materials. When asked what she will be doing beyond the borders of Endir's Point she replies, "Oh, someone asked me to map tha place." A warning was given to her but this did not sully her mood and soon leaves via the east gate.
Soon after, she comes back and takes a few days to rest at the inn. While there, she repeatedly asks local patrons if they commissioned her to make a map. She gets either blank stares or head shakes.
The Hin then decides to visit the port of Endir's point regularly and ask arrivals from the ship if they commissioned her to make a map. This continues on for days though some say she uses the Triumvir lamps to some place but quickly returns soon after and repeat the same question.
Only yesterday, A short figure emerges from the ship. She quickly snaps up to attention after a long day of asking and repeats the same to the new arrival. Soon enough, the conversation seemed to be longer than usual after the question has been asked and negotiations seems to have started.
Gold and documents have been exchanged then they went their separate ways.

The red headed priestess has still not been seen within or anywhere among the isles. It is rumored that she may have been killed or gotten lost within the shadow rift she was seen stepping into.

A schooner is seen to be anchored off the shore of Endir's Point, bearing a red flag with a black rose upon it. Various members of the Lyonson family may be seen taking a rowboat ashore and back to ship on occasion.
Draven can be seen around Endirs alot more lately, from the looks of it he stops by the Inn on his route then works his ways to the docks. Afterwards, taking his time at each gate to check for any trouble on the horizon. He stands about for hours before making his way back east

A woman, with Sanguine hair and tail, can be see working the town. Some days she works in her office with the militia and towns folk, others providing food and such necessities to the needy.
In rare cases ministrations of healing are given out when needed.
The Hin reappears again after a short absence. This time she carries a load of oiled paper and heads towards Northgarn.
A few days after, she returns and has been seen talking to a large figure accompanied by a kobold and another cloaked figure. The word Tiefling, maps and a price has been overheard and gold has been exchanged for a number of maps.
One of the locals have heard that the Hin is returning to Forstakkr to do some work.
As the sun dipped on the horizon and dusk befell the northern town, out of the shadow rift of Endir's Point did an unseen creature emerge. Wrapped safely in a cloak of invisibility, it would leave a silent trail of tiny footprints in the snow leading through the town to the north gate. If one would follow its trail it would lead east and north through the Fogwood and disappear into the ogre caves avoiding any notice of the dull sensed brutes.
Gorthod would occasionally vacate his Endir's home only to be baffled by the sudden upsurge of people. "Ya find the dankest most backwater blek-hole ya can an' the 'verse still finds a way o' throwing berks at ya." He'd remark aloud, to no one in particular, before retreating to his home.

A grumpy wood elf with white hair checks into a room at Ralten's Retreat. He makes no secret of his entrance. If asked his business, he would answer thusly:
"I'm Idan, one of the Winyan's who voted to not banish Selgoron. Tell this Soren bloke I'm here."
With that, he'd simply retire to his room to wait.
Idan seems to inexplicably tolerate Gorthod for one reason or another, though he does snap a blunted arrowhead at Gorthod's throat every time he calls him Aiden. They rarely if ever find their mark.
The tiefling would appear from a portal laden with wood. He'd spend the day in the workshop crafting a large bed whilst cracking jokes in poor taste to the other craftsmen. Upon completion the tiefling would realise the bed is too large to get through the door, he'd sigh, head to Ralten's purchase a bottle of whiskey and, after a few hours, charge back into the workshop with an axe and hack the innocent piece of furniture to bits.

*A sight that hadn't graced Endir's in months -- a greenscaled halfbreed -- lumbering in upon her staff lazily; limping, even. Locals could report she stopped by the inn briefly, but little more. There was no trace of her, and she could scarce be tracked; but there might be a courier or two that came down from way of the fort…*

A black robed wizard with blonde hair strides into the village of Endir's Point with a curious confidence as she goes to speak with the townsfolk there asking for a fellow named Soren. She takes stock of the general welfare of the town and its trade potential, but mainly, she does well to remain pleasant as a traveler in the village, speaking warmly to any commoners she might come across. Her vitality seems well-off, for someone who hasn't really been publicly seen in some time. After a day or so, staying at Raltin's Inn, she returns up the northern passes of the mountains; presumably to elsewhere in the Frozenfar.
A well dressed man with gold and jeweled rings on most of his fingers is seen in the inn talking to the patrons. He buys several rounds of drinks all the while discussing the crumbling economy and sorely lacking leadership in the town. Hard luck stories by any of the patrons are met with a sympathetic ear and a number of gold coins to ease their suffering.

The well dressed man has apparently taken up residence in Endir's as almost daily he is seen buying wares from the various merchants while conversations often turn to politics, especially the lack of leadership and plight of the poor in the community.

The well dressed man is gone from Endir's Point for a week. Upon his return he brings with him eight attractive if somewhat scandalously dressed women from West Cordor as well as several oaken barrels. All these travel to the man's house. From here the man and his retinue of women are seen walking to the mines. Before long they return to the man's house with a large number miners with them. Throughout the night and well into the next day the sounds of merrymaking are heard.
Later in the day the man is seen handing out gifts of coin and apologizing to any citizens that may have been offended by the noise from the night.

The next day the well dressed man is seen leaving a room after a meeting in Ralten's Retreat with several prominent citizens. He is immediately congratulated by several armed adventurers as the newly declared "Burgomaster" of Endir's Point. He accepts the congratulations buying several rounds of drinks as the citizens leave quietly, perhaps less enthusiastically then they should be upon seeing the armed men.
The well dressed man known as Ciroc Kilgrave smiles politely as they leave.

Pitt is seen in Endirs, more recently now. He looks weary. He heads off into the woods alone with a well-made pull sled, and frequently comes back with tons of game, which he hands over to the locals. He says he could help skinning and tanning the hides, but frankly he's not too good at it.
He learns that, despite being reasonably new to hunting, he's quite good at it. And, at a locals suggestion, varied his hunting routes so the game would not become scarce.
A young peasant child asked him, after he dumped an elk and two doe in front of the store, and while Pitt was quaffing potions preparing for another hunt, "Why are was bringing us food?" Pitt replied, "We said we would take care of you, and we don't lie."
Pitt is seen to bringing in more game, this time bringing out a few local hunters when he leaves, as last time he killed more creatures then he was able to bring back alone. Among the animals brought to Endirs this time, there included several small rabbits and foxes, and a large polar bear. Local tanners happily accept the pelts after the butchers are done getting what they can.
Nevertheless, the locals are wary of the sudden outburst of "help" from their local "benefactors", and while they take it and accept it, everyone seems to be waiting for ther other foot to drop... especially after the new laws in town.
