Samantha was often seen about the Salandran Grounds as well, since her return from that mysterious of blue misted adventures. She still spoke occasionally with workers. Perhaps she spotted Rith'tar, but she did not initiate conversation unless he did. Or unless someone else was to intervene and force it.

Rith'tar for his part kept his attention on the recovering drow. Although at catching sight of Samantha his serious expression would seem to lighten. If he caught her eye he gave her what seemed to be a knowing smile sprinkled with a bit of irony.

Fymor has been a scene maker at the temple as of late, being ushered into the mental ward regularly. He often spends his nights there under watch, lest he hurt himself or others during one of his manic episodes.

Rania would be seen spending numerous hours in the temple as well, even staying so long on some nights that she falls asleep in one of the cells. She can be heard to sing and tell stories while keeping whomever she is visiting company.

A recent visit, however, has found the bardess leaving the temple highly distraught and barely able to speak. What few words she does utters is to the temple guards, warning them that the one known as Fymor is no more, and instead is now a dangerous entity which should be kept under guard for the protection of others.

After these few words are spoken she departs with a woman dressed in black and silver, the second woman seeming to almost to be physically supporting the red head.

At night, Hazamir would lead a man in armour to the temple grounds and straight to the recovery wing. The man registered at the ental ward. After some searching, they found a free bed for the new patient in the main recovery wing. As far as Hazamir knows, the man, "Mark", has suffered a severe form of amnesia.

Fymor entered the Temple, looking a bit shy and wary. To any who would listen, he would ask around for the Tiefling of Illmater whom offered him kindness. His message was simple enough, just that Speaker Andrew wished to speak to her of his treatment.

Hazamir portals home in new working boots and clothes, then heads straight for the living quarters. He hangs much finer clothes, but wet through and through, on a suitable place in the bunks to dry, then crawls into his bed with a whispered "Sorry, Xy'glythar. She's just so ..." and falls asleep.

The next day, he would start his work in the field enthusiastically, whistling. During lunch break he collects the first fallen leaves to fill a small burlap sac with them. He then proceeds to put the stuffed bag as a head on the frame of his scarecrow and adorns the figure with the clothes and sandals he had come to the island in. He carefully forms the head as good as he can. Taking a step back and studying his craft, he adjusts the sticks so that the scarecrow looms large over the plants it guards. A few more leaves fill the old shirt to look muscular.

Finally, Hazamir smiles at his creation.

People walking by might wonder why the finely crafted head-bag has holes instead of eyes and two thick but short branches as horns on top ... But it certainly looks imposing enough for a scarecrow!

A new arrival to the temple...
A man walking with a white leopard arrives to the temple, he's clearly new to the island.
He then would speak to some nurse or anyone in there who can tell him how he can help them.
He would say that he can help gathering herbs, scouting and if necessary patrolling duty.
If anyone got scared about the leopard he would show them that she means no harm, and even could ask her to go for a walk while he's on the temple, if the leopard disturbs too much the people in there.

In the darkness of night, a large shadow of a figure slunk into the temple, reconizable as 'Dancer'.. before almost out right calapsing as he wobbled in from a portal, his face masked in crude cloth, but the source of the pale.. figures injuries, the horns.. on his head, shattered and cracked, his head appearing to have been smashed up repeatedly against a rockside, he is covered in sand and a tattered elegant dark shadow and crimsion red outfit, 'Dancer' moaned out depressively and clawed his way in. He would find his way.. clawing his way against the wall as he checked himself into the infirmary, before prompty Collapsing unconcious, muttering.
"... Idiot'.."

After some time the man with the leopard, to which the people of the temple are getting used to, appears again.
This time he's carrying a pouch full of medicinal herbs. He delivers them to the first nurse he can see and says:
"From time to time I can deliver more of these, and I have some training in making healing salves , if you need me to!"
He then goes to the fields, to see if he can help in something...always a smile on his face...but if someone looks carefully enough when he's staring at the horizon, you could notice a hint of sadness on that smile... but then it goes away.

During the night, a man can be seen, a northerner carried by someone, identifiable as Crow is walked in and checked in, the northerner, clearly the victim of some vile necromancy, his body practially looking like undeath itself, the man was checked in, critically conditioned, however the one who brought him in, donated a sum toward the mans recovery, the man in question, recovering in the ward, still but breathing and might very well be for some time... the man occationally writhing in his unconciousness, complaining in his sleep about..

The northerner man, whom was checked in recently by crow, while occationally he was known for taking walks off the grounds, he would normally return back to his bed, the man this time.. left, and has seemed to just go missing, and has not been seen since he departed on his usual stroll, there is no clue, nothing the man's fate seemingly a mystery, though reports can see a raven, cawing ominiously circling the temple grounds, before it darted off, toward the gulf coast...

For the past few days there has been a new patient at the Salandran temple. A battered and beaten drow woman, brought in by a well-known gnomish wizard, was tended by the clerics and has spent her time thus far at the temple miserably in bed. She has had a few visitors, mostly drow from the local Shrine, but otherwise keeps to herself.

Though this particular day she ventures forth from her bed with a sturdy walking stick. Braving the daylight, she uncertainly steps out onto the grounds of the temple, glancing about warily and shying away from any elfish figures. She does not dare leave the temple grounds, and she seems far from recovered from her ordeal, but she does get some exercise. She seems to find some measure of peace and serenity helping tend to the grounds, pulling weeds, and picking herbs.

And so the drow woman named Shyn'tlara spends her days dirtying her hands, before making back to her bunk. She is utterly exhausted, but not looking quite as lost and miserable as before.

A young woman by the name of Bethany Hull has become a recent addition to the nursing staff in the Salandran Temple in the last week. Though too inexperienced to work directly with patients, she wanders the temples grounds picking herbs and distilling them into salves and potions and kits for the more experienced healers to work with, or sometimes attending the more simplistic matters of superficial injuries of the random adventurers that arrive.

When she is finished with her herbalism, she spends the remainder of her day either travelling, or attending classes, studying the healers art.

A grey-clad, hooded man would be seen around the temple grounds, frequently rubbing at his right arm as if pained. The most distinguishing feature of this man, perhaps, would be his right hand, which bore talon-like nails several inches in length that no glove could really obscure.

He appears to be looking for a healer.

Hazamir returns to the temple grounds late at night, a tired look on him. But underneath his sleepiness a brightness that was gone for some time has returned. He falls into his bunk, a soft cushion below him, a blanket above, neither cold stone nor metal near him. The last thing he does before falling into welcoming dreams is to send a prayer to Salandra to watch over Jovianne ...

Walking slowly as if in a funeral march, Drusus returns to the Salandran Temple and inquires after Caron. He might confuse the clerics since he refers to the deceased as if he might simply be there recovering from some malady. However, he'd made arrangements to pick up the body and he was there to do just that.

He acquires the shroud wrapped form and takes it to one of the guest rooms. He is there for at least an hour before he leaves. The body nowhere to be seen.

*The curvy priestess comes into the temple grounds. The last place anyone saw her was in the Triumvir, pouring over with bliss. Here now for her usual rounds looking quite upset and near to tears, as if someone said something to her, she heads straight for the door of an empty consultation room and slams it behind her. The strangest, most echoing of sad whimpers leaks through the door, and it might be accompanied by a sniffle.

Moments pass and the door flies open, her skirts flutter as she marches out back into her responsibilities. She greets her cleric friends, her patients, her students. She makes the same rounds she always does with patience and excellence. Her smile is brave and tried, but her eyes seem a little red, a little wet. The temple has never seen her cry. *

*Hazamir had been working in the fields that day, and later walked with Talas and Jovianne in what seemed to be good spirit towards the camp site in the woods. A little while later, Talas left the other two alone.

Who knows what happened then, but it ended in Hazamir's raising his voice angrily, and then leaving the forest as Talas returned. Whatever sound the wind carried to his ears only made him gloomier. The dark-haired man quietly walked back to his bunk through the night, stuffing his few belongings into a small bundle, shouldering his backpack and then heads for the temple gates ...

He stops once, and walks quickly to the field. There, he fishes two cheap red gem stones from a bag and places them in the empty eye sockets of the tiefling-styled scarecrow he had erected there a few months ago and occasionally repaired since then.

With red eyes, the strong tiefling scarecrow might look oddly similar to a certain prominent figure from Wiltun.

With red eyes, Hazamir leaves the place.*

*Indeed, Jovianne was left softly crying by the waterside, her haunting and echoing wails muffled by a green shoulder. Later the next day she would look for the gardener to apologize, and finding his quarters empty, be struck with a look of guilt and pain that followed her through her duties that day. As she left for Caraigh, she finally lingered on the scarecrow, a newer expression of confusion and suspicion forming in the layers of emotion on her gentle face.*

*There is more traffic to the recovery ward than usual- many familiar faces from Wiltun and Kohlingen congregate outside with much serious discussion. Their expressions a mixture of anger, sadness and resolution. Hugs are exchanged and aggravated sighs fill the night.

Jovianne is watching over a particular patient, with instructions to the clerk to keep her bedside Lit, and a written description of a certain person given to the Templars to keep an eye on. She looks stressed... guilty...on verge of tears... but most of all barely concealing her anger.*

Late at night, when patients are sure to be sleeping, a gray-armored Templar slips into the recovery ward on silent steps. He checks on the recently rescued children, ensuring they are tended and comfortable. By each little bunk he leaves a small silk bundle, containing sweets and toys. Each bundle also contains a simple protective amulet, bearing the icon of Selune on a small silver chain. The back of the amulets each bear a small inscription, stating simply: "You were very brave." The gray knight stands silent vigil over the recovery ward for several days, though none ever know he is there.

Indeed, a trio of sickly children were escorted to the grounds of the Salandran temple, where several nurses on duty were immediately dispatched to bring them to intensive care. They seemed drained of nearly all life and stamina. As if someone had taken succor upon their youth. The ages of these young men and women were no older than their early teen years, the eldest having to be at the most around thirteen winters.

When the unknowing nurses find the children awoken several mornings later by gifts and treats, they are doubly surprised and gracious for whomever had left them. When asked, the youths themselves did not quite know either. After preliminary checks were made upon the consumables---to which they found no trace of malign intent---the children were left to enjoy their baubles and candy.

Each of the three young ones offered a pray to the Moon Maiden, kneeling by their beds with the necklace clutched in tow. Perhaps they had taken this as a sign of mercy, and good fortune to come in the near future.

A very familiar face in the Salandran Grounds, Talas comes to see the new young patients after getting another of his usual orders of cotton candy from Rosary. He greets the templars and staff with familiarity, and heads to the orphanage to deliver the sweets, then pays a visit to the newly rescued children, to whom he talks, and plays some songs.

He leaves another usual delivery of tomatoes and lime for a certain Songhealer to eat in between her rounds, and hears of the gifts the children got.

"Really now? Well, luckily for the children and all of you whoever entered the wards completely unseen had no ill intent. If they had, they could have done whatever they pleased to the children and any other patient."

Finally, after many days, the children seem strong enough to answer the horde of questions awaiting them. The nurses, in pursuit of the best care for their patients, personally take charge and ask the children an assortment of questions to piece together the tale. Their responses and story is compiled by the head nurse and passed out to any visiting adventurer or official that requests it. No further questions are allowed until their full recovery.

Each of the children and the one teenager all speak of being snatched suddenly by a powerful, hard bodied beast. One they later learn and assume was one of many Winged Mylock. All of their tales speak of being transported almost constantly from location to location, feed spoiled cheese, and spending days blindfolded and/or chained. None of the children are able to say where they were transported from but simply that they were in caverns most of the time, completely shut out from the light.

Their tale becomes shrouded and difficult to piece together from here but all of the children remember being forced to hold the massive clawed hand of, what they assume, was one of the Mylocks while touching the surface of a pointed object, with sharp corners and smooth flat sides. The Mylock muttered words in each case and each of the children was drained of what they describe as their ‘energy’. They each felt like they had run around the entire isle of Amia twice.

The head nurse makes a note at the bottom of the paper describing how each of the taken’s records show they all have some form of magical ability.
