Lately around mid-day, never seen without her helm on and seeming to not give an inch when upholding the Laws of Tarkuul in her daily rounds, a new gold and obsidian plated armored individual plainly wears a cloak bearing the rank of Sergeant, as is shown with the deep blue colors that adorn it, can be seen walking on patrol. When she walks her appointed rounds she will stop to speak should time permit or give a militant nod seeming resolute to attend some scheduled engagement. At times, she may stop and ask the privates to recite the five laws of Tarkuul or instruct them in basic non-lethal combat manuevers demonstrating how to detain and subdue unruly law breakers. A close attention is paid to the stance and proper posture of the living guard standing at attention, much like a drill sergeant would in the military. She as well instructs on terminology such as fall in, right face, left face ect. She seems to expect those privates to snap to attention when she or higher ranking officers approach or enter a room. When the privates are tested, should they not be able to recite the five laws, she tells them to fall in rank and they both march into the castle. She's also asking around and speaking with mages and spellcasters of all sorts on how they cast there spells, not giving reason other than it's for her own personal curiousity. She seems intent on focusing on verbal and somantic properties of such.

Placed in a position of stature rather quickly, she spends a bit of time in the library studying when not on patrol, the resolve is intense, her head deep in books and notices she's taken down to copy, as she puts quill to parchment taking notes. She keeps an ample supply of various foods, fruits, nuts and the like that she eats seemingly to not stop for food while working. Now that the Captain has resigned she's even more adamant about learning all that's available on the Living Guard their purpose and duties. She seems determined to fulfull the rank given her with prudence and precision. She recieved mixed orders as to how to approach the swamps but now her superior has said simply to keep an eye on the swamps and to not wear cloak of rank. So now she just patrols with rank visible within the Living City. She's recently decided to apparently cover her armor with a beltless dark casters robe, perhaps to fit in more with the look of Tarkuul but it's really not known why she's done this. Her appearances and patrols in the Living City have been getting more random as of late. Showing up briefly to test the privates about what they need to know, The five laws, who's allowed to patrol the city, basic drilling on attention stance and terminology and the like but mainly she focuses on making sure the privates know the laws, no longer instructing on non-lethal subdual techniques. Afterwords she leaves apparently portalling out from varied locations within the living city completing her daily duties.

After speaking with Silexxi the gnome wondering the halls recently, some curious and exacting questions were asked of Rose. It lead her to find out more about who is in charge and currently hold positions of import. She seeks out acting Captain Sicarius for answers.

A very heated Sergeant marches through Tarkuul not stopping to speak with anyone. After exiting the castle she can be seen with a letter clutched and wrinkled in hand showing no regard for the writer of it and enters the Tower of the Damned as her armor chinks loudly up the stairs to the captains quarters. She cleans out her belongings and leaves a short note next to the crumpled up letter she had spit on in front of the captains chair at the head of the table then leaves the captains quarters. On the way downstairs she speaks out loud to noone in particular.
"Who the hells is this -Zack- li'l Vosst character taking Leutinant? I haven't seen him around or patrolling doing Sergeant's duties. It's not like he deserves the damn job. I honored my duties. I damn sure ain't goin' ta salute the bastard. If that's how things are done around here they can choke on their favoritism. Their loss, fuck 'em! I got better things ta do. Now I know why Aly'isgar resigned."
She slams her sergeant's cloak in the trash on the way out. Walking back out into the city and ports out.

Later that day inside his office, Sicarius would be reading a certain letter. Reading it slowly a few times, the Captain crumpled up the letter and scanned the room.
"This room is in need of a fire place."
Taking out the roster to remove a name, he puts it away and leaves the office in search of a suitable fire.
