-Captain-

The Captain delegates general orders to others of the guard, the
Captain receives his orders from the Consulate or Speaker who in turn
would receive them from the Voice.
The Captain takes precedence in all matters of the protection of
Tarkuul, as directed by the Voice and the Consulate.

The Captain must hold a fortnightly meeting with members of the
guard, to ensure duties are being performed correctly, also to keep
all members up to date with on goings in the City.
Inform the Speaker and Consulate with any
and all happenings in the City.

-Lieutenant-

Enforce the laws of the City as necessary. Those found
breaking these laws are to be arrest and detained.
Or removed from the City, depending on the infraction caused.

Reports to the Captain, relays orders to others
of the guard. Sees to the training and discipline
of the sergeants and privates. Should a problem
arise during training or disciplinary actions the
Lieutenant must cease the matter and bring it to
the Captain. There it can be discussed professionally.
In worst case the Captain will then decide or take
the matter to the Counsulate.

The Lieutenant must ensure a daily patrol is taken
place of the City, this task is given to the Sergeants
and Privates of the guard. If no one of the guard is
available they must then take the place of the patrol.

-Sergeant-

Enforce the laws of the City as necessary. Those found
breaking these laws are to be arrest and detained.
Or removed from the City, depending on the infraction caused.

Receives orders from those of higher rank and must fulfill
them to the best of there ability. The priority of the orders
are based on the rank of the individual issuing them.
Can refer privates for promotion and also for punishment.

Report to the Lieutenant on the details of the days patrol.

-Private-

Enforce the laws of the City as necessary. Those found
breaking these laws are to be arrest and detained.
Or removed from the City, depending on the infraction caused.

Receives orders from those of higher rank and must fulfill
them to the best of there ability. The priority of the orders
are based on the rank of the individual issuing them.

Report to the Sergeant on the details of the days patrol.

-Rules-

1. Enforce the Laws of the City.

2. Follow the orders given by your superiors.

3. Show respect and curtsy to all Tarkuulians.

4. All members of the Protectorate are to follow
the orders given by the Consulate or the Speaker.
Unless they breach the laws of the City or the Protectorate.
Or priority order given by the Captain himself.

5. What happens outside of Tarkuul, stays outside of Tarkuul.
Whilst within the City members must act accordingly.
However outside, individual misgivings are your own.
Actions against each other are not the concern of the Protectorate.
(Though if such actions cause harm to Tarkuul, the matter will be
brought to the consulates attention)

6. All members of the Protectorate using the resources of the city are
to do so with caution and respect, those seen misusing or damaging
said resources will be punished.

7. All members must perform their listed duties under their rank,
failure to do so will be considered dereliction of duties an
misconduct, leading to loss of rank or removal from the Protectorate.
The Duties, Ranks and Rules of the Protectorate are subject to change
at the whim of the Cities leading officials.

-Uniforms-

Uniforms are to be worn when preforming duties in the City, if you are in the City and not on duty or preforming tasks your usual attire may be worn.
Your uniforms must be cleaned and kept in pristine condition, also when in uniform you must act accordingly to your rank. Unruly behavior when in your uniform is -NOT- tolerated.

Experience: Having lived within Amia for the past fifteen seasons. An archaelogist, explorer as well as seeker for truths. My blade has drawn blood from within the peek of Skull Crags, to beneath the oceans. As well as several other planes beyond Amia herself. Experience has not only taught me to fight however. Also how to fight smart, against superior odds. And when to withdraw to reacess tactics.

Reason for Application: To serve The Living City within the capacity and skills at my disposal. To defend the populace, who have come to Tarkuul in search of truths. Truths often forbidden to them by the tyrants who rule the lands outside our walls. To protect, and to kill.


//ooc Sorry this was delayed. Celebrating xmas with part of my family this weekend. So things have been hectic.

In the dim candle light the Captain strides through the Castle doors. Heavy metal scrapes against stone with each step, stopping at the roster. Sighing once through his nose he thumbs down the short list of names, pausing and hovering over a gouged name then skipping on. Drawing a line he then pivots returning to his office. Abhilasha Nalambar's name removed from the Guard ranks.

After receiving his mail the Captain leaves his office to the Castle. The letter scrunched in a bleached bone fist as he approaches the roster board. With gritted teeth he skips a quill tip to the Sergeant ranks and strikes through Ian Blackthorn's name. On his way back up to his office he pauses by the grill into the lecture hall and growls lowly before moving on as usual muttering in dark undertones.
