Hey guys.
My internet is now even worse than before so I'm not going to be around at all properly for another week or so.
On the plus side, I'm building an iron age forge. And intend to smelt some Dacian falxes on it. For those of you who don't know what those are, think can openers, but for Romans.

You're going to really hate me then. Just got back from a Roman/Dacian re-enactment. I killed three Romans before I had my throat slashed open.

Should have regular internet again in two weeks guys. In the meantime, I'm assigning Unuldor IC to gathering equipment to stock the Vanguard to explain his absence.

^ The Skum will take that threat personally I'm sure... In other news, the wild Isen was shot and dumped into the water with lead weights attached to his ankles.... Dusty said it'll be a couple more weeks until he can give us his time again... but the drow are alive and well in the Underdark, so stop on by!

On the topic of time...
...So I've been back and relatively active the past week, however, my supervisors for my Masters of History have finally gotten back to me on the situation in regards to my thesis, which is to say, my supervisors are a complete load of sh*t and I have one month to either get them to pull their fingers out or get them fired so I can get new supervisors and hand in my thesis by August 14th.
Yay.
I'm still going to be playing and still going to be relatively active, however, if I am slow in responding, or if I am lagging behind in a hunt, or anything of the sort, it's probably because I've got my thesis open on the same computer and am pouring over it.
On that note, if anyone here happens to have a good grasp of historical studies/Mycenaean history/experimental archaeology, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll shoot you over my thesis. Seriously, if you respond in less than 3 weeks of this post you're already doing better than the average email to my supervisors.

Alright, quick update.
My internet STILL sucks! Going to change providers.
My supervisors STILL suck! Going to be rewriting the thesis based on information they had 9 months ago and didn't bother to read.
My time in reality NOW sucks! I'm now running 4 artists, doing the paperwork for an alternative/steam punk show, writing burlesque routines for performers (yeah I don't know how I got that one either), have a teaching gig in a week, running a seminar on Wednesday and still running the admin and some teaching for my swordplay school. I also still have my RPG to work on, print and publish, which may happen by the end of this year, keep you all posted on that one as it happens.
If I get my internet up and running, I'm hoping to dedicate a few hours every second day to appearing on Amia. And by day I mean around midnight Australian, which should be peak hour for the rest of you. In the meantime, if anything desperately needs to happen, I will be communicating with Genar/Naltyrr and hopefully when talking to people In Character he won't rewrite my words from 'we really need to build some walls here' to 'down with the matriarchy!'
One can only hope.

i'm back!
Italy was beautiful and Rome was ghetto as always, love the neonazi graffiti. Athens is a craphole, but I guess it's fitting for the country its in. Istanbul blew me away with how beautiful and clean it was. Literally incredible.
Took a long drive from Naples down the coast to Amalfi, absolutely breathtaking, I know where I am moving.
The greek islands are incredible, but for different reasons. Its just baffling how someone can live on an island that has literally 100% tourism income and allow it to become a dump. Mykonos had literal trash floating everywhere.
Anyway, the point of this is that I am once more available to play and respond to PMs as Isen

Hey guys, sorry I've been so scarce. I've been busy at work and the new responsibility I've undertaken fills my mind with fuck all day. Coupled with the lagginess and general discontent with all things Amia lately, I've been vegging out in Minecraft mostly. Don't feel that this means Zrae is being idle, I know I have received a PM or two I haven't replied to IC, but that's mostly just Zrae being Zrae. No news is good news, after all  I know the server lag issues have kept a lot away, I notice few people on B (where most the lag seems to be, it's a plot against the UD!) lately. I'll be back on Zrae for sure this weekend, since the server will be moved anyways. I just needed some time to recharge and get my drow mood back on.

I mean if its your thing then go for it.
The problem with greece is its economy is literally crippled. I did some reseach after the trip, and they never recovered from the athens olympics, which basically broke the back of the country's economy and has been credited as a major contributing factor of the economic downturn in the entire eurozone. (they said 22/23 newly constructed buildings are rotting and left unused, draining money and making no profit to recoup their construction costs).
It really depends on what you want to do. There is a ton of history there and I enjoyed my time, but I would have liked to you know, choose what I was gonna see. Athens isn't on my 'must return to' list though. Not to mention flights are atrociously expensive from USA to europe unless I go to like, madrid or something.
