After days of being absent from Shadowscape the familiar stride and hardly quiet movements of Rith'tar are heard within the academy. His heavy armor being spotless was not unusual but that it was no longer in the familiar noble house colors of blue and bone might be to some. All color scrubbed from the armor leaving only the sheen of metal with red accents.

He had nodded politely to the registrar without stopping, took the stairs and let himself into the Grandmasters office.

Rith'tar was in the room for several minutes. Anyone passing by would be able to see his activities since he didn't bother to shut the door.

He set up a sava board. All the pieces placed as if in the middle of a game. The pieces on the side of the Grandmasters chair, presumably the Grandmasters pieces, were obsidian. Each piece expertly crafted. Each piece with the makers mark on the bottom of the pieces, "R".

On the side of the guest chairs were equally expertly crafted pieces of blood stone. The dark gem interspersed with darkish red making them look as if they had been splashed with blood during the carving process.

The Grandmaster seems to be on the losing end of this particular game. Both Spider Guards, both castles, four pawns and one priestess are laying off to the side of the board. The opponent is only missing two pieces. The Matrons Warrior and one pawn are gone. Which is to say, they are no where to be found.

Under the pieces, drowish written elegantly in blood on the board...
"You are losing Grandmaster. Either admit defeat or get in the Game." Iim'mur'ss would recognize Rith'tars writing, most likely done with his finger.

// Chess pieces - Sava pieces; Knights = Spider Guards; Bishops = Priestesses; King = Matrons Warrior; Queen = Matron

The Grandmaster spent a great deal of time in her office studying the 'message'. When she left she made sure the door to the office was locked, until she returned sometime later and took a meeting with a robed figure that had been seen there several times in the past.

After the meeting the door was once again left unlocked, as usual. The game left exactly as it had been found.

A slight change to the game board on the Grandmasters desk. The bloodstone pawn is no longer missing. It is now sitting beside the board. The excellent craftsmanship seems off somehow as the circular top of the piece is askew slightly.
