As winter approaches Amia, life continues throughout towns and cities. The growing season of agriculture draws to its end as farmers relieve themselves of all tension from their hard work. The general population wrap themselves warmly in their homes and light their fireplaces. Families toast merrily in remembrance and nostalgia of a long year, hoping for the best outcome, that their past efforts have paid off for the next year. A natural state of Nightal some would say. However, the year hasn't ended just yet.
News spreads of a growing snowstorm at the Skullcrag Mountains. The militia of Guldorand warns adventurers to tread there carefully.

Lightning strikes thrice just atop the Crystal Spire, west of the Skull Crag Peaks. Following that came the roaring sound of thunder. The snowstorm continues to stir heavily and rocks begin to fall tumble down the rocky mountain tops! The citizens of Guldorand were warned to stay indoors. The temperature had dropped. The wind howled aggressively as the snowstorm continued. After those hours of turbulence, in which a group of mix-and-matched adventurers have returned, a new traveler has taken temporary residence at the inn. Her name was Ellena Redseal, garbed in blue and turquoise hues. Hearsay suggests that the bizarre weather and misfortunes may unravel for the mountain town.

A more and more familiar face visited each major settlement on the island with information regarding the incident. He would attempt to bring it to whoever is in charge, or at the very least the Captain of their Guard. Cordor, Bendir Dale, Kohlingen, Wharftown, the Grove, and a brief conversation with Kampo and the Crouching Lemur Monastery.
Heavy snow falls and begins to settle near the mountain town of Guldorand. A snowstorm slowly picks up once again at the Skull Crags, this time at the 'Upper Mountain' region. Other than that, nothing appears out of the ordinary in the meantime...

Whilst Guldorand and the Skullcrag Mountains have experienced drastic weather changes, such as turbulent winds and heavy snowfall, average temperatures have dropped all over across Amia. Even more so than the usual month of the year...

Against a winter that seems almost literally demonic, the commoners and non-magic folk have little they can do to stave off the worst of its effects. All-powerful mages and living avatars of the gods could barely catch so much as a shiver, but not everyone is beholden to such arcane protections. And yet, there is a difference to be made in spite of this.
A lithe half-elven scout makes her way to Arwen and Aluvard's, commissioning as many outfits of sturdy, reinforced wool as she can. While there, she also grabs a few cloaks in 'extra-long' sizes to act as makeshift blankets. She drops by Cordor Central to make sure the beggar there knows the situation, dressing him up in some of the hearty attire and offering him some advice to help survive the chill.
Afterwards, she ventures to Cordor South. When snow alights on the ground and the desperate seek shelter, there are only a few likely places to go, and the Hospice seems to her to be the least equipped for a flood of cold but uninjured people. Therefore, she drops by to provide them a ready supply of outfits and blankets for the needy.
Even the temple of Ilmater earns a quick stop on her 'tour', although given their access to a literal deity, this is less to fill their cabinets and more to make sure they understand the situation. She makes sure to close the windows on the way out, to keep the chill at bay.
She's last seen making her way to the vicinity of Kampo's, but it's pretty clear she'll make herself known again if the situation worsens, when and where the commonfolk are absent the sight of the kings and mages who make the world turn on edge.

Quite a sight as the beggar often lingering around central Cordor was wrapped in reinforced wool. The hospice and the temple workers were grateful of the kind donation made by Montana, and the fair institutions would make use of them for their occupants during this harsh winter. As snow begins to fall across the island, some have experienced ice elementals arriving at their homes. It starts with heavy snow, a thick mist, and sleet forming on the ground... The wind continues to howl, foreshadowing the worst to come. The frost mage Allena Redseal residing at Guldorand has recently attracted the attention of adventurers and commoners alike, offering insight and advice where she could.

A note is left at Kampos, Bendir Dale, Cordor's Market Hall, Kohlingen, Wharftown, Winya, Barak Runedar, Shrine of Eilistrae and Guldorand:
Hello everyone! I've managed to enter in contact with the individuals we were seeking so let's meet in two days to talk with em and see to this cold issue on the Skull Crags!

// This Wednesday Tuesday 11/12/2018! Time to be determined! Elyon will announce the time!
As Winter's Wrath grew day by day, Guldorand would suffer the most from the weather. Snowstorms continue to brew from the Crystal Spike, Skull Crags. On one particular day, a heavy and deep-freeze mist settles into the mountain town. Several of the citizens find themselves covered in sleet, frozen-statues, though alive as the mist through their nostrils suggest. Tales from the residents would tell of some brave adventurers who brought them into the inn to melt and warm up during the blizzard, as well as bravely venturing the peaks. However, there was no longer any sight of the frostmage Ellena Redseal within the walls...
The number of guard patrols and shifts would drop this winter at Guldorand. Most have decided to spend most of their days within their homes until there was an assurance the current weather would end. Even so, there was a brief period of respite as only snow fell and the winds remained calm.

As the weather only gets worse and worse, Jacob decided to offer his help at Wharftown. As the town has seen snow falling the last days, and the temperature everyday seems to be lower than before, he offers his help to any that would ask... and even to those that doesn't. As he offers to magically ward against the harsh element to those working at the docks or just to anyone who spends most of their time in the opens. Should the guards of the town need any more assistance, he would collaborate with them.

The weather has taken a drastic turn! Residents of Amia could feel strong gales like none other than before the past month, and all spectators by coastal regions of the island would watch the sea currents pour forth onto the surface in heavier waves before receding. Luckily there were no damages in docks of Amia's town's and cities. Meanwhile, the snowfall continued on some days.

Three letters were sent to Kohlingen and one, surprisingly, to Shrine of Eilistraeen from Winya Ravana. As time to act was forthcoming, a meeting was to be called.
Winter continues without a drastic turn of weather change. Whether it snowed or not, all appeared to be as natural as it should be. Ellena would stop by one last time at the mountain time, saying her farewells before travelling to Cordor. Should anyone ask her whereabouts, they would say 'Neverwinter', to live a simpler life. The residents of Guldorand returned to their duties, preparing for a new year. No portals opened at the Skull Crag mountains and the local inhabitants came out of their hiding holes. Cyronax's forces were no longer to be seen.

Late Uktar arrives once again and snow falls from the nimbostratus clouds, typical weather for an Amian winter. Commonfolk across the island find themselves wrapping warm and relieving from hard work as they prepare for Nightal, whilst guardsmen and the adventuring population stay vigilant, especially from ongoing threats such as the horde.
A returning frost mage Ellena Redseal had arrived at Amia once more with an ice construct she would call 'Jumbo' and a caravan made out of ice. Several adventurers were seen escorting the trio from Amia Frontier all the way to Guldorand, taking the Skull Crags route. Whilst they had faced many horde horrors including trolls, orcs and airborne creatures such as bats and werebats, eventually they had arrived at their destination. The people of Guldorand reap the fine goods of dried meats, vegetables, candles, blankets, furs, and clothing from the mainland.
News spreads of a mystery rainbow-colored box Ellena was seen carrying to the inn once her day had ended. She would hint of a surprise for the townfolk of Guldorand and the adventuring populace but kept her words vague and short. Suspicion had sparked among the commoners due to her presence of last year's events, and even among adventurers who had suggested there could be icy abominations and other smuggled threats inside this chest! Others hoped for gifts like puppies and all things good. What does Nightal have to offer this year?
