This morning as dawn rose over the isle, a warm orange light shrouded the land. The first birds started to chirp, it seems this year their population re-grew a little at last. Much to the dismay of the Cordorian guards, the seagulls have returned as well and "decorate" the scenery. At first, nothing seemed unusual about this dawn, apart of it being a rather peaceful one.

But then, over Nexus Hills an orange-red light, similar to the color of a flame shot towards the sky and remained there, building a line from the clouds above to the ground below. Only a few minutes later, a second shaft of light could be seen. White in color and remaining in place just the same, reaching from the clouds down to the earth.

Green followed shortly after and with the three shafts of light one could recognize that were aligned one in each cardinal direction. Orange in in the south. White in the east. Green in the north... and lastly a fourth one appeared. Blue in the west.

The four shafts of light lingered straight towards the sky for a few minutes, then they slowly bent towards each other, twisting and weaving into each other, forming an extraordinary rainbow which had the colors wrapped and draped in a twist instead of neatly beside one another.

All of a sudden the light radiated and blue looked to be the brighest color of them all, overshadowing the others and basking half the isle in an ocean colored light which grew stronger and began to form a half-globe over the spot of its creation similar to a glass dome.

The dome of blue light intervened slightly with the other three colors making it shimmer like a soap bubble. Those with a keen orientation could trace its location to form over Winya Ravana, the elven city.

The dome of light pulsed several times like a beating heart and then... it was gone. None of the lights remained and everything looked like any other morning again. The birds continued their songs and the sun rose further slowly.

The only change would be noticed by those who actually make their way to where the dome of light formed. Or any who wished to simply visit the elven city Winya Ravana.

Where the elven city once stood proudly... now there is only a large, if pretty, meadow. A leyline node idly sitting in the center all alone with nothing else but grass, shrubs and butterflies.

Another dawn rises over the isle, the first rays of the sun mixing with the mild fog of late autumn.

Those who gaze towards Nexus Hills could see hints of silhouettes in the thicker fog which surrounds the whole area by the waterfalls. As the sun rises higher those faint silhouettes and shades gain more contrast and stark lines.

Once the fog is chased away by the late morning sun, it reveals the beautiful elven city, Winya Ravana. At its entrance stand two elven figures, completely contrasting each other. The wise and friendly Elder Vilmandel greets everyone who approaches with a warm smile. Next to him, the bone-white skinned Baelnorn Adavar stands with an aura of calm authority, presenting a solemn and serious expression, watching visitors with a pair of intensely glowing eyes.

Any elf entering the returned city would immediately notice two things. For one, the dreadful gloomy feeling and the silence of the Seldarine are no more. As for the other, something precious which adorned the area in front of the Temple of the Elven Father has gone missing in their stead.
