Announcing the first of a series of Amian war games.

In times of peace there is always value in maintaining a sharp blade that it is ever ready for whatever threat may endanger that calm. With this in mind we bring you a series of games to show the strength of each group participating, as well as an experience to learn and grow from each victory or defeat among the matches. Gather your team, represent your ideals or nation with pride. Use these games as a tool to learn about your environment, meet other people, grow as a team and also proudly display your group. Many opportunities abound for those participating or watching in the upcoming events.


The first of these games will be hosted in 10 days. ((May, 7th, 2016 at 9PM EST))*between the first teams to register, which will be randomly be selected initially and then a tournament style round robin system will be employed so that each team has a chance to face off against one another.


Teams must be provided in name only within this time frame ((Deadline May, 6th, 2016 11:59 PM EST))**. It may consist of as many members as one wishes, however for each game only the allowable number will be fielded. Individuals may not be a part of multiple teams.Post your teams below so they may be put into the tournament accordingly. In the future a variety of courses from defending locations to organized objective-focused brawls will be added.

So that you may begin developing your strategy now and show not only your proficiency on the field but also your tactical prowess all of the details of the operation are listed below.

Escort
In this operation a team of 5 will guide a VIP from one end of the course to the other. The way they tackle this challenge will be their own to decide, with the only restriction being that they stay within the course's grounds. Meanwhile the opposing team's objective is to capture the VIP enroute. After a round the teams will swap sides. Teams may be anything, from the organization of a settlement's strongest, to a group of friends.

Rules

1: No outside influence is allowed, parties must remain in the designated course, however mobility within the course is otherwise free.
2: No restriction on spells/items/abilities.
3: A ten minute "Prep" time is allowed once both teams have taken their starting positions. Allowing for buffing, last minute strategy, and in the case of the defense setting up hazards along the course outside of the marked safe zone.
4: The VIP may not be hasted.
5: Once knocked out, a participant may not return to the game by any means until the round has been completed.

Points

What will be evaluated along the operation will be speed, safety, and completion of the operation.

Offense's point breakdown:
+5 points for the VIP arriving at the destination.
+1 point per enemy neutralized
Defense's point breakdown:
+5 points for capturing the VIP (By returning the VIP to the start location of the offense)
+1 point per enemy neutralized
Universal points:
-1 point per 40 HP damage incurred on the VIP
Tiebreaker is decided by whoever completed the objective faster.

VIP information
HP: 200
Saves: 30/30/30

The VIP must be guided at all times, will run for the offense if told to, but will only walk for defense (to simulate defiance). If no one is guiding the VIP they will hold their position. The VIP will take orders from whoever is uncontested in guiding them at any given time, so long as that team maintains control of the VIP through guidance.

**Teams will be consulted on optimal times between their contests in the future, though consistently these events will be held on the weekend.
