I'm a new player here looking for an RP home with a focus on both story telling and mechanical fun. I've been roleplaying for about 16 years, since I was twelve and picked up my first serious D&D tabletop game. I've been playing NWN off and on since launch as well as many other roleplaying outlets online such as MUDs, NWN2, and Online Tabletop systems. My favorite, and by a massive margin, setting is Forgotten Realms, I'm partial to the span between the Dalelands and Waterdeep. As such NWN, was a instant buy for me. I mean close enough right? I prefer a good mix of roleplaying and combat/trap/general adventure. I find worlds that only engage the story and nothing else tend to miss a massive part of the what can be done. A precursory look here shows me I may be able to settle in and indulge a bit here (you're the only active server that actually has higher than +2's on your end game magic items).

As for OOC stuff I'm a software developer by trade, and have even developed for the NWN engine as well. I won't promote it as it's super easy to find anyway. I also make stuff with Unity, run my own web design and hosting firm, which targets non-profits and low/fixed income patrons/small businesses, and I do all sorts of fun stuff in tech world on the side as well. For example I'm currently messing with the PHP framework Laravel just to add it to my list of tools. I love game design and development as well as writing tools for them on occasion.

I'm currently playing a Amnish-Calishite Wizard of Waukeen. I've been wanting to play this character for a while now and think this is the best option I've had for where to do it yet. I've been meaning to take some time and get in-depth here for a bit now as well, so I hope to see you all in game and in character over the next few weeks as I build my first and perhaps second character. I am not huge on alts, and for that matter forums. I am however easy to find in game.
