So, it struck me as odd that either I was blind and didn't see another topic-- or that one didn't exist.
Recently, the Designer, scripting, and developing team have been doing some incredible things. I'm absolutely floored at the progress, the excitement, and the drive that these individuals have. With the Hak updates, area design, and really intuitive scripting-- we're in for some really cool updates.
And more are already in the works. This is a really exciting time, and we owe it in large part to the guys and gals that work so efficiently behind the scenes.

Belated kudos to the Cave Pockets/Illuminated caves in the UD. The crystals and mushrooms make the area beautiful. And it's not just another cavern crawl. The extra special transitions are fun (except that time I got that 1 on a reflex roll)
Nec'perya! The Ussen d'Vhid house is amazing. Thanks!

Coming from the one who allegedly created those Tanar'ri crossbow users.
The bitter irony being that I intended the most-hated spawn to be the Berserker; same philosophy as that gnome with the morningstar in Khem ie easy to kill but you shit yourself making sure you're killing it.

You guys... what would we do without you. Much love!

Thank you, Sune, for your all your work! Especially the LETO stuff you did recently (and might still be working on)!

To the creators of the new low level items and their descriptions. They both are so in tune with the server, feeling far more logical to be present than ever before. On top of that they each tell a little story about Amia in general and its history. Historical facts, stories, little hints of the creatures in an area,... they're all included.
This effort is very much an asset to the depth of story this server offers.
Easily the most impressive server I've sailed, which is quite a boast to claim.
The gibberling dungeon was the most impressively done thing I've seen lately. The end was wondrous.

I agree with you about the gibberling cave. I haven't finished it yet as I think I need a few buddies, but man is it a fun attempt every so often. I cannot wait until I explore more of the clever scripted hidden gems of the server.

Indeed. It actually made me create a new character - the basic lootbin is pure genius.

If you don't mind, Helmite, I'm genuinely curious about what inspired you in particular. No need for you to say, but if you choose to and don't want to broadcast it, you can PM me.

I've never been too much of an alt-ist, so generally I have one main character I play and for some time now. And recently it came to my attention that I have been missing a lot of new areas (for lowbies, which I did not explore with my 30) and various loot, so I decided to make a new character and completely explore the module again.
So what inspired me? To put it simply - new stuff. Because new is always better.
And a job well done. The lootbin is great, especially each story behind every single item. Re-designed areas are also quite enjoyable, so thus far I'm having a lot of fun.

A well deserved first post in this thread for me by saying Anatida (and anyone else that helped obviously!) has done a great job reworking an area that hasn't been announced in any medium so I'll assume it was either forgotten or kept a secret so people can find out! Amazing job!

If you're speaking of the Timberlands dungeon that's going in soon, it's just waiting on me to do some touch-ups on the critters and put in a quest, and then it'll be announced "officially" and yes, Anatida's done very fine work on it
No I'm speaking of the 2spooky4me academy in Shadowscape

<3 the academy. Oh, and I don't know how long ago it was updated, but kudos to whoever redesigned the Cordor Market Hall. It was a pleasant surprise walking in there the other day and seeing all the pretty!
Been away for a while and was very surprised and impressed with the changes made. Well done guys.

I just want to give praise to Dusty and anyone else who has had a hand in updating drow town. It has been so satisfying to see Nec'perya moving onward.

+1 to the job system designer (never thought you'd hear that, did you) for taking into account XP vs job point return and increased XP yield by job level to compensate. Great attention to detail.

I vehemently disapprove of the no walk water that has been implemented. >:E What is supposed to be preventing characters from running through it now? Is it suddenly too deep? Invisible force fields?
Everything else looks good and suitably blown up, though. I like all the floating debris!
It's not water, it's blue acid. You realize you'll melt!
Props for the Cordor stuff. It feels suitably wrecked and is like wandering through a wasteland. It's fantastically doomy!
