Hello Amians,
I thought I'd try my hand at this alternate beginning nonsense. The premise is for a group of 6-8, from humble beginnings and lives, to start a new life on the road--becoming adventurers by choice or necessity. Acceptable classes will be rogue, fighter, bard, sorcerer, and druid, cleric and wizard by requesting it from me with a reason for this less-than-banal background. For all intents and purposes, the go-to for this event will be plain, unimportant human. No tiefling, aasimar, or dragon blood, or any other such things. Vanilla human. Half elf will also be acceptable, however.
It will be an interactive event, with a direction largely influenced by player actions; however, working across a plot line I have put together.

It will be a persistent event, where there will be regular events but you can play the characters in-between events. My timezone is PST.

The premise will probably have one event a week, and you'll be able to play your character in the mean time. My time fluxes between being on very early, and being on very late, so chances are I'll be able to accommodate most folks at some point.

This is fitting with a character idea I was toying with. I'd enjoy a chance to see more details on what you were planning, although I'll probably only join if there's enough room for me.
I'd like to throw my hat into the convo. Female Beautiful Human, Rouge, ex con just released from Cordor prison, is what I was thinking. She was sentenced to Five years after being found guilty of trying to rob a Noble Manor. (to feed her siblings.) Heart of gold, speaks with a forked tongue. Tough as nails. Starting a new life, with strikes already upon her name. Mya Tearstone is her name. Job wise Im thinking Thief. spy ,gem cutter.

Also, I've picked through everyone's concepts. Everyone who applied (with exception to those I've contacted and I'm waiting a response from!) are all accepted, go you!
I want to make it known to not be too in love with the planned builds you have for your characters, just in case something happens to radically change your PCs path. That is the kind of event this is. Also, leveling should be done as a group, so no one gets left in the lowbie dust. <3

The date is set for Wednesday. I'm putting noon PST as the time, but it's allowed to change since it's my day off and I'll be clearing out the entire day, more or less, to run this for you lot. <3 Between now and then, you can make your characters, ask for clothes to craft, change heads, perfect the look, and what not. Great first event, folks. As a reminder, you are permitted to play your characters between events with the stipulation that you do not go past level two for now, since we're still waiting on our late joiners who missed today's event. When I get my schedule for next week, I will let you know about the official "event day". Those who missed out today, contact me someway and we'll get you sorted.
Also, members from the event today, make sure to decide who will be the PC that mechanically owns the house, and whether you want it as the "shop" area, or the "house" area.

I think the question got missed IG, so repeated here: Does that, who mechanically owns the house, make a real difference (like that character needs to be around to use it)? Is it an IC thing, or just an OOC one? There's a few newbies in the group, myself included, to whom this is new territory. Whats the difference between shop and house?
