The DM team has as an entity always discouraged child PCs, but to date has always been lenient enough to let them be created, in order to appease the audience that might be put off by an altogether ban.

That stance is changing.

Children characters are now by request only. Any current child character is required to submit a fully written out character request to us A.S.A.P. or suffer possible consequences including but not limited to, at DM discretion: Forced archival of the character, removal of the character, forced "Growing up" of the character, etc.

This by no means now means that we encourage or even endorse children PCs. Requests will be looked at strenuously and rigorously, and any approved children PCs will be forced to remain at level 2 or be subject to the consequences named above.

This is not a discussion and so is being locked. Forward any questions, concerns, and your soon to be written in full character requests to the DM team. If your current child character request is denied the DM team will work with you on how to move forward with your current character in a manner that will bring you in line with the rules.

By Adult, we mean 18 Human equivalent years.

Yes, I'm aware D&D has different rules and 15 is legally an adult, but in D&D you don't have your buddy at the other end of the table trying to hit on your 15 year old "adult" female who just happens to dress and look so much like a little girl that it's borderline creepy. Your rp will hardly be affected by those extra 3 years, and if you truly want to play a 15 year old, then apply for it and play it realistically please.
