There are some jobs that are available most of the time as they pose a persistent problem (or need repeating attention).

We shall start creating a list here, that is regularly updated. It is split in three categories, beginner jobs, advanced jobs and seasoned jobs.

Beginner Jobs*

DeliveriesEmployer: Pickering from the The Commonwealth Curier
Location of Employer: Cordor, East
Job: Delivery of various parcels all over Cordor
Reward: Some gold and various small items of use
Danger: None, unless you consider getting lost dangerous
Additional: Best job to start with, great to get to know the city.


Trouble in the SewersEmployer: Malcer
Location of Employer: Cordor, East Sewers
Job: Trouble in the Sewers, you are to investigate what the issue is
Reward: a magical ring
Danger: Small. Mostly rats and other vermin. Nothing for people witha sensitive nose
Additional: You will likely have met the Employer before if you delivered the parcels. You get there by using the Sewer entry from Cordor East, near the gates to the North.


Goblin IssuesEmployer: Farmer Gilbert, Son of Holvin
Location of Employer: Cordor North
Job: Hunting down goblins in the Amia Frontier and in their Lair
Reward: Gold and an Amulet
Danger: However dangerous you consider goblins, they can be pesky.
Additional: Gilbert is often seen on the other side of the road by the carts in Cordor North.


A spider problemEmployer: Cordorian Guard Erik
Location of Employer: Cordor Outskirts, West
Job: getting rid of a spider-nest
Reward: Gold and a small trinklet
Danger: We aren't talking about teeny weeny tiny spiders here... you'll need a bit more than a newspaper.
Additional: Not recommended for people with arachnophobia.


Defeat the GibberingsEmployer: Calad Varnor
Location of Employer: Amia Frontier, Barrow Lake (you get there by exiting Cordor North through the west exit and then go to the right, over the big bridge, if you go straight you get to the swamps)
Job: Go down a hole in the ground to investigate.
Reward: Gold
Danger: Not a pleasant place to be and quite maddening.
Additional: Plan in a bit of time for this, it is quite a long journey.


Defeat the OrcsEmployer: Cordor Mage Guard Phillipe
Location of Employer: Cordor East (near the gate to the North)
Job: Go to the Orc layer and cull their numbers
Reward: gold and a raise scroll (//ooc sidenote, if you turn down the gold reward you get xp instead)
Danger: Orcs and traps
Additional: Beware of the Orc Shaman, you cannot harm him unless you destroy his altar.


A Troglodyte ProblemEmployer: Cordor Guard
Location of Employer: Cordor Outskirts West (exit the west gate and go to the right immediately)
Job: Clean the Swamps of the Troglodyte Pesk
Reward: A nice magical cloak
Danger: They are not to be underestimated and have thralls. There's also a high risk to catch a disease in the swamps.
Additional: To get to the swamps either see the Gibbering Job, or just stay in the Western Outskirts and use the cart there.


Picking FlowersEmployer: Mishnaegel
Location of Employer: Cordor, North
Job: Go to the Old Shrine on Caraigh
Reward: Gold
Danger: Harpies and animals
Additional: Do NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


A troll problemEmployer: Skit Gwilt
Location of Employer: Bendir Dale
Job: Defeat the current leader of the trolls and cull their numbers
Reward: Gold
Danger: Trolls (and their stench)
Additional: They are vulnerable to fire!

Wiltun/Caraigh

Delivering a MessageEmployer: Nicho the Secretary
Location of Employer: Fortress Wiltun, inside theKeep
Job: Delivering a Message to Caraigh
Reward: Gold
Danger: None (unless you get seasick on a boatride)
Additional: The dwarf in the same area where you deliver the message to has some interesting goods, which vary often. He also pays a little gold for rat ears, should you come accorss some in the region.


Investigating strange noisesEmployer: Little Card
Location of Employer: Fortress Wiltun, Inside the Keep
Job: Card sometimes hears odd noises from the cellar, you are to check out what is going on there
Reward: Magical Potions
Danger: Vermin and goblins
Additional: Pretty straight forward really.


Defeat BughEmployer: Hortim
Location of Employer: Fortress Wiltun Inside the Shop (the one that sells the higher gear)
Job: Go to Blackmoor Swamp and defeat Bugh
Reward: Magical Dagger
Danger: Plenty spiders. For Bugh himself it is of great help if you have a magical item that somewhat protects against cold.
Additional: Nothing for people with arachnophobia. Do NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


Iron OreEmployer: Bergrin Audveig
Location of Employer: Wiltun - Noway Inn
Job: Gather and deliver some Iron Ore
Reward: gold
Danger: You will have to face some goblins, rats, bats and possibly wolves when you head into th goblin caves to retrieve the ore.
Additional: You can do thisone by night and day, you do not have to pass the Undead Plagued areas.


A Murder of CrowsEmployer: Mr Halley
Location of Employer: The Lighthouse
Job: Find a stolen Bauble (sneaky birds)
Reward: A magical Lens
Danger: Some animals if you get too close to them to agitate them.
Additional: Do NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


Deliver Bone MaterialEmployer: Aiden the Blue
Location of Employer: Aiden's Tower
Job: Gather some bon material from the sarcophaguses in the Creepy Barrows.
Reward: Gold
Danger: Some animals if you get too close to them to agitate them.
Additional: Do NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


Blackmoor's DogEmployer: Father Darian
Location of Employer: Father Darian's Asylum
Job: Hunt down one of Blackmoors Hounds
Reward: Gold
Danger: Some animals if you get too close to them to agitate them. The Hound itself.
Additional: The hounds often prowl around the Asylum or the FoirnbridgeDo NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


Kill the Bridge TrollEmployer: Corporal Jard
Location of Employer: Ceyren's Mill
Job: Pretty straight forward, get rid of a bridge troll.
Reward: Gold
Danger: Some animals if you get too close to them to agitate them. The Troll itself.
Additional: Foirnbridge is one of those often plagued by trolls. Do NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


Put a restless spirit to restEmployer: Laisa
Location of Employer: Forest Pit in Dormenwood
Job: Put one of the many restless spirits in Aigheshed to rest. They usually dwell in the Cellars.
Reward: Magical Ring
Danger: Rats, Restless Spirits and lesser demons. Animals in the forest.
Additional: Do NOT travel Caraigh at night!!!


Sidenote:
If you happen to find a cursed ringof the chieftain which weights you down... you can only get rid of it by tossing it into the Pond in Cloudfen an hour before midnight!! (//23 hrs IG time)

Careful, Caraigh is very dangerous at night! If you are not a seasoned adventurer, please ask some seasoned adventurers to accompany you at night to get rid of the thing! But best just do not pick it up to begin with.

Worgs and OrcwortsEmployer: Captain Bennald
Location of Employer: Guldorand
Job: Fight your way through worgs and Orcworts
Reward: Gold, Magical Boots
Danger: Mentioned Worgs and Orcworts
Additional: Great place to pick wood of all sorts. Orcworts are plant creatures and not really orcs, so they are a bit harder to hit. Careful they see past invisivility. I suspect tremorsense or such.


Golems Part 1Employer: Regibus von Naptem
Location of Employer: Guldorand, in his little tower
Job: Recover a construction plan for golems from the abandoned lair, close to where Uhm once was.
Reward: Gold, the option of a second job
Danger: Undead, bandits, occasionally Gnolls
Additional: There are plenty traps and locked doors you need to bash or pick to get to the plans.


Golems Part 2Employer: Regibus von Naptem
Location of Employer: Guldorand, in his little tower
Job: Recover a Gear Heart from Glorag Mur
Reward: Pocket Golem (only limited amounts of use)
Danger: all kinds of weird creatures in the Skull Crags. Animals and Mountain Giants. Then constructs in Glorag Mur.
Additional: You find Glorag Mur in the Skull Crags. Warning, only one specific golem type still has a gear heart and it sometimes is making itself rare. If it is around it usually is to the far left, right after you entered.

Ostland

Gather SuppliesEmployer: First Mate Garmin
Location of Employer: Osthavn, right by the ship that brings you there
Job: Kill 3 deer for meat for the sea voyage
Reward: gold
Danger: You pass the swamps where you encounter all kind of crawly and slimey nightmares.
Additional: Do keep your magic low inside of Osthavn, they are a bit twitchy still about magic.


Birdmen Bandit TroublesEmployer: Bors the Burgomaster
Location of Employer: Osthavn, inside one of the buildings
Job: He pays some gold for every slain birdmen bandit. Just bring him their masks.
Reward: Gold
Danger: They are quite pesky fella's.
Additional: Their warcries can be quite unnerving to the mind.


Missing DaughterEmployer: Ostlander Peasant Woman (she not very trusting and doesn't give her name)
Location of Employer: Ostland North Road
Job: Deliver Messages to her daughter and gather some items
Reward: Gold
Danger: About everything that crawls on Ostland. Mostly animal and vermin.
Additional: The old lady will make you run around a lot.



Forrstakkr

Gather Food SuppliesEmployer: Highpriest Snorri
Location of Employer: Howness, Temple of Helm
Job: Gather Ice, Flour and hazlenuts
Reward: Gold
Danger: You will face some fierce animals outside aswell as Aurelites.
Additional: Hold on to the pelts you find, you can sell them later in Howness to Alf the Black. The better a reputation you managed to gain in Howness, the better he will pay for them.


Drawing StonesEmployer: Östman Gudfastsson
Location of Employer: Howness, The Thirsty Marauder
Job: You are to find 4 runestones all over Forrstakkr and draw them into a small notebook.
Reward: Gold
Danger: You will face some fierce animals outside aswell as Aurelites.
Additional: Hold on to the pelts you find, you can sell them later in Howness to Alf the Black. The better a reputation you managed to gain in Howness, the better he will pay for them.


Spread the BreadEmployer: Highpriest Snorri
Location of Employer: Howness, Temple of Helm
Job: Deliver to Vinni Gerkison in Thordstein
Reward: Gold
Danger: You will face some fierce animals outside aswell as possibly Aurelites (depending what roads you take).
Additional: Snorri will only offer you a second job if you helped him gathering goods before.


Book DeliveryEmployer: Gudmund Injaldsson
Location of Employer: Thykkvi, Monastery
Job: Deliver a book.
Reward: Gold.
Danger: You will face some fierce animals outside aswell as possibly Aurelites (depending what roads you take).
Additional: Gudmund will only trust you enough with his delivery if you helped High Priest Snorri already.


A missing boyEmployer: Thirmir Thorsson
Location of Employer: Thordstein, inside the building.
Job: His son is a little rascal and often runs off. If he has run off again, he might ask you to find him.
Reward: Gold
Danger: Animals and Undead
Additional: Little bugger often hides in the Crypts north of the Gray Forest. Thirmir will only trust you enough with finding his son if you have gained a bit of a reputation in Forrstakkr.


A book for a dragonEmployer: Scientific Dragon
Location of Employer: Mount Firth
Job: Deliver a copy of "Learning to be an Archmage overnight"
Reward: gold
Danger: Undead, animals and aurelites around the area.
Additional: Don't try to steal from the dragons hoard (unless you are prepared to face the consequences). Last we heard, Winya Ravana, Barak Runedar and Tarkuul have copies of this book.


Investigate a missing personEmployer: Hrolf Hromundsson
Location of Employer: Howness, one of the buildings near the gate to the wilds
Job: Investigate what happened to his son
Reward: gold
Danger: Animals and depending what roads you take, undead and aurelites.
Additional: Hrolf will only speak to humans and only those with the highest reputation in Howness.



Khem

A Minotaur ProblemEmployer: Lady Si'neela
Location of Employer: Nes'ek, Temple of Lathander
Job: Deal with the local minotaur threat and their current leader
Reward: A magical ring
Danger: Many, many minotaurs
Additional: They have some nasty curses. Use Bubbly Potions.


Place an IncenseEmployer: Umara
Location of Employer: Nes'ek, in the area by the carts to Hasrabet
Job: Place an Incense at the Temple of the Eight Gods for her
Reward: Gold
Danger: Dangerous Spirits, Grave Robbers, Desert Spiders
Additional: She only allows those of pure heart to help her. (Don't ask me how she knows, but she does)

Collect LentilsEmployer: Sjin Hister
Location of Employer: Nes'ek, in the area by the carts to Hasrabet
Job: Collect Lentils from the Caverns below the Temple of the Eight Gods

Additional: Why this guy stays there and always gets himself bitten by snakes again is a mystery to me. I suppose he hopes to be immune one day. On top of that he is also very picky about who he accept help of. Each to their own, I guess.

Brogendenstein

Helping SigmundEmployer: Lord Ovind
Location of Employer: Setersborg, Inside the Main Hut usually
Job: Cheer up poor Sigmund
Reward: Magical Drinking Horn
Danger: Varies. Brogendenstein itself is rather dangerous, though you can also reach Setersborg by ship. The journey will take you to Frozenfar among other places, where you should be advanced but no need to be seasoned necessarily.
Additional: A lot of travelling around and Lord Ovind only really allows humans to undertake this journey.


Finding missing dwarvesEmployer: Runedar Raider Captain
Location of Employer: Barak Runedar, Port
Job: Every now and then some of the dwarves do not return from their patrols of these dangerous lands
Reward: Perfect Mythal
Danger: Fierce animals, Winter Wolves, Frost Giants, Wild barbarians
Additional: Pack a warm Cloak. A 'very' warm cloak.
