A rolled up scroll, in blocky, print hand, written in CommonLaws of the Barony of Fogwood;
As dictated heretofore by Baroness Brieli of the Fogwood;
As scribed heretofore by Arbiter Korthan Isharnos of the Fogwood;
As enforced heretofore by all those given such authority by the Barony and all officials;

Identification and Social Appearance;

    I: Coverings, armors, scarves, helms and cowls are permitted due to the inclement weather of the area. All travelers must be willing to reveal their identity to a guard under reasonable demand, in order to keep the peace. The authority is the final arbiter of "reasonable demand". Refusal to reveal identity can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

    II: Weapons are to be sheathed, if not peace-knotted, during time in the Fort, or other civilized areas. Should self defense become necessary, exceptions will be issued, and judged accordingly by the authorities. Refusal to keep weapons sheathed can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

    III: Shapeshifting with the intent of deception or malicious action is forbidden. All judgements lie with the authority. If you require shapeshifting to perform reasonable social duties and appearances, speak with the authorities and exceptions will be issued on a permit basis: i.e. large creatures taking smaller forms for business, strange appearances that you worry may frighten, so forth, et al. Refusal to comply can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

Magical and Eldritch Matters;

    IV: Offensive magics, as weapons, are not to be used during time in the Fort, or other civilized areas. Should self defense become necessary, exceptions will be issued, and judged accordingly by the authorities. Refusal to control magic can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

    V: Defensive magics, like armors and coverings, are freely able to be used in all areas. All travelers must be willing to reveal their identity to a guard under reasonable demand, in order to keep the peace. The authority may choose to provide minor compensation for identification matters that require dispelling of expensive magics, at the authority's discretion. The authority is the final arbiter of "reasonable demand". Refusal to reveal identity can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

    VI: Summoning magics, with the exception of undead, are to be treated on a case by case basis. As a general rule, a non disruptive creature that does not frighten or inclemently affect the populace will be allowed. The authorities are the final arbiter on the presence of all summoned creatures. Refusal to comply can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

    VII: Undead creatures, created or otherwise, are not allowed within the civilized areas of the Barony, including Fort Summer and all other applicable areas. Exceptions will be made for self preservation and life-threatening situations. The authorities are empowered to destroy such undead, on their judgement, without compensation to their creator or summoner. Refusal to comply can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

    VIII: Overt fire magics are to be kept to a minimum within civilized areas, except where it is necessary for the work to be done in the area, or to secure the warmth, safety, security, and health of the populace. The authorities, or other individuals empowered by those authorities, are the final arbiter on what is reasonable Fire magic. Refusal to comply can result in a refusal of access or denial of entry, and further punishments based on context and result of issue.

Specific Crimes, and Other Matters;
Not to be taken as a fully exhaustive list;

    IX: Theft - The thief will be forced to return the item to its original owner. In the event of "fencing", where the item has passed between several hands, guilt will be determined on an individual basis, but the item will always be returned to its original owner unless other arbiter-approved exceptions apply. Upon this occurring, the wronged will be allowed to choose an item of equal value from the thief to take as their own. By the authority of the Barony, this will be enforced as a legal transaction with all ownership transferring occurring.

    X: Fighting, Assault, Verbal Threats, and So Forth - The offending party will be immediately ejected from the area of offense, up to and including the claimed limits of Barony territory. Repeat offenses will be handled on an individual basis, based on the degree, severity, and repetition of offense. Wronged parties will be compensated accordingly, up to and including ressurection, at the discretion of the authorities, and not always at the cost of the authorities.

    XI: Matters of Faith - The faiths of the Nightsinger (also known as the Dark Lady, and identified as S--r), and the False Prince (also known as the Dark Sun, and identified as C---c), as well as any other faiths that espouse betrayal, treachery, and instability, are henceforth banned from all territories claimed by the Barony. Travelers proven or suspected of harboring these faiths and intentions will be removed, by force if necessary, for the safety and security of the land.

Finally;
The Barony claims the ability to judge and arbitrate all situations not laid out in this document;
using all resources at its disposal and any means necessary;
in the name of keeping the peace in the name of all invested authority.

Where such situations are not clearly laid out in this document or written law;
the authorities and arbiters of the land have final jurisdiction;
such as is necessary in order to resolve the situation and keep the peace.

Should travelers take issue with any directives or resolutions;
they are to comply with the authority at the time, for peace-keeping purposes;
and then thereafter, submit to the Barony in writing, their grievances;
such that it may be reviewed, by those necessary to do so.

There is no guarantee of a change in station or judgement in this act;
simply that your situation will be reviewed by multiple sets of eyes;
and another look taken to ensure that correct justice is due.
All Decisions Are Final.
