So, I got the new Pocket Golem today and was playing around with it. I then tried to unsummon by right clicking on it. Didn't find the command so I clicked "remove from party" thinking that would get rid of it. Nope. That just left him standing in Bendir Dale, no longer in my party. So I rested, thinking that would get rid of it. Nope. Then I summoned a new Pocket Golem thinking that would get rid of it for sure. Nope. Now I have a 2nd fresh Pocket Golem and the old one is STILL standing in Bendir Dale. I assume this is unintended!

So, I logged off and logged back in on a different PC and the Pocket Golem is still standing in Bendir Dale minding his own business.

A few more details:

You can summon the Pocket Golem and have another summon active at the same time. I summoned the Golem, then used a Bow of Summoning to Summon a Justice Archon and they were both active at the same time.

The Pocket Golem leaves a corpse on the ground when killed.

Right clicking the golem to bring up the radial menu shows the same radial menu options as for my character himself.

The pocket Golem is treated as a henchman, not a Summon. So this is all intended. You're generally not supposed to remove henchman from party because they will forever remain unattached. :P
