  • Addressed a lingering issue in Blood Frenzy.
  • Allowed druids to cast Flame Weapon from scrolls.
  • Added kamas to starter merchants.
  • Bracer/glove dialogue now correctly refers to the skill used as Spellcraft.
  • Fixed the Arcane Defiance Robes so they are now craftable. Any players with the current, uncraftable version can ask for a replacement.

  • Another fix for the Arcane Defiance Cloth.
  • Due to the amount of issues raising dead in the Entry area has caused (such as people changing servers and abusing the system, thus wasting DM time), Raise Dead and Resurrection are now disabled in the Entry.
  • The Phase Spider familiar can now receive weapon buff spells, such as Flame Weapon.
  • Bonus Feat: Knockdown has been removed from items.

  • This is a large update for B. It includes the release of several new areas on the isle of Ruathym. This area will be a focus for part of the Dev team as it is still an on going project. You may notice some transitions that don't take you to another area yet, they are part of the ongoing updates. We (or I) wanted to bring these nice new areas to you as soon as possible so we will be releasing them as they are done, rather than holding them all back for one big update.
  • A new starter quest has been added to Wiltun
  • Kohlingen has new locked gates, the guards will demand you remove your helmets now.

  • Implemented a scaling buff system for the Epic Shade Lord feat. This grants a bonus to the Shadowdancer's Shade summon, starting from 13 and reaching its peak of power at level 20 Shadowdancer.
  • Fixed Battletide to function on Amia B.

  • Fixed the new red glowy eyes.

  • Blackguard Aura of Despair is now unlimited uses / day.
  • Sticky Whips now do OnHit Slow instead of Wounding.

  • Implemented big balance changes to most of the shifter forms to address the previous weakness of various forms. As these changes are quite lengthy, they've been separated shape by shape in this post. There will be a edit to the Shifter class in Modified Classes/Feat in a short time which will describe all current forms in complete detail as well as the previously undocumented AC progression.

General:

  • The method in which shield AC is added to Shifters has modified to make it more intuitive. Instead of merging both the base AC and AC bonus of a shield, Shifters now gain a shield bonus AC progression, regardless of whether or not they have a shield equipped when shifting.
  • All forms now have a temporary HP bonus. The amount they gain depends on the overall role/strength of the form.
  • All forms now merge weapons, inventory and armor, with the exception of wyrmlings and dragons.

Dragon:

  • Its creature weapons are now +5 enhancement, instead of +4/+3.
  • The dragons now have an additional 10/+5 damage reduction on top of its existing 25/+4.
  • Increased Spell Resistance from 20 to 28.


Harpy:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • Sonic Howl when used by this form now does additional damage.


Minotaur:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus. In epic, it also gains Epic Weapon Focus.


Basilisk:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained 1/- damage resistance. In epic, it gains 2/- damage resistance instead.
  • It has now has a chance of petrifying on melee strikes.


Drider:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • In epic, it gains the Increased Multiplier feat, meaning it strikes with x4 criticals instead of x3.


Manticore:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus. In epic, it also gains Epic Weapon Focus.


Drow:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus, Spring Attack and Barbarian Fast Movement.


Kobold:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased. (very slightly!)
  • It has gained Weapon Focus.


Dire Tiger:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus. In epic, it also gains Epic Weapon Focus.
  • The Dire Tiger now gains additional Attack Bonus and damage when fighting animals. This bonus increases in epic.


Medusa:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus. In epic, it also gains Epic Weapon Focus and a Massive Critical bonus to its bow.
  • It has gained Evasion and an immunity to poison.


Vampire:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus and Epic Weapon Focus.


Spectre:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus and Epic Weapon Focus.
  • It has lost the Wisdom drain on hit, but instead has a chance of inflicting Doom on hit. It has also gained the Crippling Strike feat.


Azer:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus, Epic Weapon Focus, Improved Critical, 2/- damage resistance and Weapon Specialisation.


Slaad:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus and Epic Weapon Focus.
  • Chaos Spittle now does far more damage for Shifters. Its Slaad summoning spell will now summon the Red Slaad from Lesser Planar Binding, though only for Druid+Shifter level/Rounds.


Stone Golem:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • Its Piercing weakness has been decreased to 10% from 50%, and has gained 2/- damage resistance.
  • It has gained Massive Critical and Keen.


Iron Golem:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • It has gained Weapon Focus, Improved Critical and Ki Critical.
  • Its weapon has gained Keen, and the elemental damage upon it has been increased to 1d10 electrical.


Demonflesh:

  • Its Attack Bonus and Armor Class have been increased.
  • Its immunities toward elemental damage have been increased to 50% from 25%.

  • Redesigned Whirlwind Pulse and Drown Pulse (the Druid/Shifter Air Elemental and Water Elemental's abilities) so they're valid combat options. Whirlwind deals d3 / Druid + Shifter level damage and knocks down for a round on a failed Reflex save. Drown Pulse consumes 10% of maximum hit points to use, and deals 25% of a target's maximum hit points on a failed Fortitude save, to a cap of 150 hit points.
  • Fixed Iniquity's misaligned chairs.
  • Fixed the odd Ale/Tobacco box in the War Knight Keep.
  • Fixed the Assassin Darkness widget not reporting spell failure.
  • Corrected the Spectre Shifter form not correctly following Hide in Plain Sight's cooldown.

  • In-game hours now last 10 real life minutes instead of 2 real life minutes. This means each reset contains a single in-game day. This will not affect spell durations. Note that this is not our accepted canon passing of time. It is simply a change to help immersion.
  • Added Gorgometh's plot area to B.
