Templar  H

Historical background

The life of a Templar (or knight) would start at a very young age - seven years old. He'd first become a Page. It was the duty of a Page to wait at table, care for the Lord's clothes and assist them in dressing. The Page was provided with a uniform of the colours and livery of the Lord.
He then became a Squire. It was the duty of a Squire to learn about the Code of Chivalry, the rules of Heraldry, horsemanship and practise the use of weapons. It was also their duty to enter into court life and learn courtly etiquette, music and dancing.
Finally he'd become a knight (or a corpse). It was the duty of a Knight to serve their Lord according to the Code of Chivalry. Weapon practise included enhancing skills in the sword, battle axe, dagger and lance.

How does it work?

You go to your Instructor and ask for a task. You can only have one active task at any moment.

If you are free to take a task the Instructor gives you an area name and a target. Go to that area, locate your target, and attack him. The usual combat routines will be replaced by a standard roll.

On success you kill the target, bonus gives you a gold drop. On failure the target escapes.
